The ex and I had to have the last of our greyhounds put to sleep today. Gypsy was a mischievious girl who always grabbed your heart and made you smile. A little brindle girl, she was always my favorite. In recent times kidney disease took over and in the end she stopped eating and was slowly wasting away. So today we ended her pain. My great comfort is that, due to staying here helping my ex convalesce from her accident, I got to spend the last two weeks with Gypsy. Several times during those days there was a glimpse of that mischief in her eyes that made me so happy. If ya got a dog around the house give 'em a ear scritch for me. Dave is often my first suggestion for people looking to get into Jazz or experiment with timing. He was productive until the very end of his life, releasing live albums last year at the age of 90. so while driving back from school with my dad (picked him up from his office on the way home) we were talking about fireworks on 4th of july and i jokingly suggested that we take a trip to orlando and spend some time at the theme parks. oddly enough he said yes. neither of my parents have ever been there so it should be a great trip. going to leave tomorrow after my classes and then come back on sunday. looking forward to a good time.

Hey guys, recently my pillow had "pancaked" on me. So I'm in the market for some new pillows. When I visited SEARS, I was amazed on the type of pillows that are out on the market now. So I'm a bit confused. Is there anyone out there that can help me? My guidelines are: Made of materials that won't heat up, I live in Hawaii, it's already warm Available from bricks and mortar, since I don't have a paypal (sears?) Durable, this is a important aspect Not too expensive maybe $25 a pillow price range? If it helps, I'm a chest/side sleeper.
