Hippy birbday, @cetoole! I asked Bing.com to make some images for the occasion and I couldn't pick just one, so here are, well, all of them. Note, there was nothing alcoholic or drink related in the prompts (my bad), but Bing knows you (or me?) too well. I mean, this one even got the lime! This had a super cute pupperz This also has a super cute pupperz This one has pupperz of cuteness and a longboard style that I belieb you may have one of already. Don't you love the truck mounting?

Do any of you have any recommendations for small business software. I've been looking at Quicken, Quickbooks, Turbotax etc. I've never used any of them and don't know exactly what I need. They need to be reasonably easy to use and learn as ell as not being excessively expensive. Life is a big hectic mess right now and I need something to simplify at least some of it.

So I had to come back to Atlanta to do my transfer to a different store up in VA. Just my laptop and a pr. of senn hd201s. Then here comes the king of all friends...(that would be Purk) Brings me a pair of HD800 and HD650's. Sets up new software on my laptop, brings all cables and a nuforce converter, along with headroom desktop headphone amp/dac and desktop power supply. After 7 months of health issues and not being able to work, getting back in the groove was not easy. Having these tunes to come home to has made so much difference! Thanks just doesn't cover this much trouble and time he's put into this hook up. He's the best

The Pepsi Refresh Project (Pepsi) is giving away millions of dollars to fund great ideas. Grants are awarded to any idea that makes it to the top ten by receiving the most votes. The non-profit organization I am voting for and supporting all this month is the I Am Innocent preventative program, which is in the running for $50K – they are dedicated to preventing wrongful convictions through education, prevention, and reform. You can also help them get the most votes! Here's how it works: Voting has begun and will continue until January 31, 2010. Voting will remain open every day through the month of January at which time the top 10 vote getters will be awarded…

NEW DELHI (AP) — Ravi Shankar, the sitar virtuoso who became a hippie musical icon of the 1960s after hobnobbing with the Beatles and who introduced traditional Indian ragas to Western audiences over a 10-decade career, died Tuesday. He was 92. A statement on the musician's website said he died in San Diego, near his Southern California home. The musician's foundation issued a statement saying that he had suffered upper respiratory and heart problems and had undergone heart-valve replacement surgery last week. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also confirmed his death and called Shankar a "national treasure." Labeled "the godfather of world music" by George Ha…

Well? Judging by the way people talk around here, it's not surprising, but at the same time, why is there no girl-fi?

Lately I've been trying to follow the push-up routine from one hundred push ups, which sounds like a good idea: 100 push-ups within a couple of weeks. Let's see if it works out (I started out at 19 max). Do you have a workout routine you use or can recommend, especially to gain some upper body strength and mass? Not trying to look good on the beach (there's isn't one here anyway), just want a more healthy mix between an underdeveloped upper body and soccer-abused lower body.

I am heading to San Diego on Friday night for an Emergency Medicine conference. I'll be at the conference itself on Sunday afternoon but will have all of Saturday and Sunday morning for walking around/doing stuff. As of right now I have the San Diego zoo on the list. How much time should I realistically set aside for it? The hotel we are staying at is only a couple of miles away. Don't drink so don't care for any bars or clubs. Suggestions for must see attractions? Any food places to check out? Nothing terribly expensive please - I am living off of med school loans. Thanks, CJ.

Not that any of you loons give a rats ass, but I am pulling down our internet satellite dish today. It's going to be tough living without it for the next two weeks but it also means I should be home soon:prettyprincess: You stay classy, Head-Case.

For the past 5 years I've been using an ISP who provides DSL service. Connection and performance has always been spotty, but tolerable. Lately it has become intolerable. Last night I was able to connect, would get part way through a post and then the connection would be lost for the next several minutes to couple of hours. After 5 years they finally sent a tech out to check the box & their connection. Tech sez everything is fine at their end. Problem apparently lies with the phone line wiring in my home. I'm not sure I'm buying this completely. Really only matter is I decide to stick with DSL. After checking further on DSL service, it's obvious that if you'r…

I have a slight Tinnitus in my right ear, that is the result of having my eardrum ruptured. BTW: having an ear drum torn sucks. Music was distorted for me for about two years, and I still dont have perfect bass response in that ear, I believe from the presence of scar tissue. The ring I have I only get when its silent around me. For example, right now I am in my cube at work (where it is quiet to begin with) and I have my er6i in , with nothign playing. I can hear the ringing in my right ear now, and only slightly if I take the etys out. My left ear has a normal amount of background noise. Is there anyhting I can do for this? It's really not that bad, but sometimes…
