  5. If you only want to go half-assed: Klipsch corner horns. If your room happens to lack the necessary corners for the K-horns you should get LaScala. If your room does not happen to be large enough for the any of the above mentioned speakers, get a larger room.

  14. Will these Nissan still points you speak of fundamentally change the sound signature of the speakers? I prefer to start with a transducer I despise and tweak it until it is acceptable.

  15. Yesterday I learned that tonic syrup can go bad. Today I learned that means a morning full of running to bathroom. I have learned so much.

  16. Ended up staying with the apartment with the balcony. Now to start considering speaker options for the living room. It has full concrete slab construction, reasonably high ceiling, and wall to wall carpeting, so I am hopeful that I can get something decent sounding.

  18. I'd go for #2, the bedrooms are much better and why do you need a balcony for when it rains all the time.
