  1. So I had to come back to Atlanta to do my transfer to a different store up in VA. Just my laptop and a pr. of senn hd201s. Then here comes the king of all friends...(that would be Purk) Brings me a pair of HD800 and HD650's. Sets up new software on my laptop, brings all cables and a nuforce converter, along with headroom desktop headphone amp/dac and desktop power supply. After 7 months of health issues and not being able to work, getting back in the groove was not easy. Having these tunes to come home to has made so much difference! Thanks just doesn't cover this much trouble and time he's put into this hook up. He's the best

  2. I dont actually need 64TB at the moment. But it exists, which means I need it. They have 4k porn now. Liberating bitcoin doesn't feel the same as spending dollars for some reason.

  4. Raid 60 makes the most sense for this, right? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1082744-REG/g_technology_0g03769_64tb_8_x_8tb.html

  5. The issue is not with the site (pretty much everyone here is great); it's with you. You have a very long history of mood swings and overreacting. Crappy could very well be a shit (I do not go looking for proof either way 'cause I have shit to do), but in this thread, he did absolutely nothing wrong. He disagreed with you. So fucking what? Because you are getting all nostalgic over which actor is better, you berate and ban him? Even if the actor he likes is shit, who fucking cares? You could have taken your own advice and skip the reply to him, but no, you didn't. Get off your high horse and go buy another watch if it will help you calm down.

  6. It's like the penalty you finally get in soccer. It is not just for the the last play but for all the other times you acted like a douchebag or showed yourself to have the empathy of a turnip.

  7. The test point on the power supply is low impedance! So 580 there is 580 no matter what kind of meter you use. most of the other amps don't have test points, and the only thing you can do is measure at the stax jack which is 4.7M away from a low impedance voltage source. for all of my newer power supplies, the 580v is generated with zener diodes, and is not adjustable like the much older supplies.

  8. I'm with Nate on this. Really enjoyed Suits for 2 seasons and lost interest. For legal shows, if any of you guys didn't watch Damages when it was airing, I loved that (on Netflix). Mr. Robot is looking like my fav summer show this year.

  9. The Marshal Store is on the shore of Tomales Bay and has a wood fired bbq for oysters, fish and meats. Nice big and fat Tomales Bay oysters are barbecued in the Shell and sauced in a variety of ways. Chorizo and chorizo butter is my favorite, but Rockefeller with spinach, cheese and bread crumbs was very close today. The bacon & worchestershire sauce was tasty but not quite as excellent. They also have smaller raw oysters on the half shell in the traditional manner but I didn't get any this time. They are all served with a couple chunks of grilled sourdough garlic bread. We went during MOA so many others got to enjoy these delights and can speak up.

  11. He always plays the same character. The only reason he was so good in Imitation Game is because it was appropriate in that case.

  12. It is my pleasure to help out Tom! He is my audio mentor after all. The loaner HR setup is actually an Ultra Desktop Amp with Max DAC/Amp module so it does a really good job with the HD800. Also I borrowed the HD650 from Mulveling so the credit goes to him to.

  13. Joshua Redman Quartet - Spirit of the Moment: Live at the Village Vanguard (1995) Available at Spotify and Tidal It has the privilege of being among the very few post 1990 albums to make the New Yorker list of 100 Essential Jazz Albums. As a matter of fact only eight post 1970 albums made that list (not a free and avant-gard jazzer myself).
