  1. Look what just showed up. I decided to treat myself for my birthday... Sounds brilliant with the HE90 and is pretty much required to use them. Also the build quality is nothing short of stunning. Now I just need to address some imbalance in the HE90's as now that the left driver is up and running properly the right one is a bit too weak by comparison.
  2. Had some fun today. Too much time/money compared to just playing on the computer with the rig I'll be honest. Definitely makes me know how to handle this car though.
  3. My amps are "voiced" to be neutral They work well with the HD800's because the HD800's are really good headphones which is why I usually use them for demonstration purposes. But they work well with all sorts of different headphones.
  4. So here's some renders of the amp and PS. I've got to mill out the amp plate now
  5. One week turn around... Not bad Here's the board with 2oz copper. I still need to finalize the BOM and get an order in.
  6. I let instructors drive the car on both courses and as expected they beat my "average" run but I actually managed to beat their times by a few seconds in both cases. I am sure with more time for them to get familiar that would not have held but it felt pretty good.
  7. Thanks I'm using Fusion 360 for all of my modeling. It's nice because it has CAM capabilities as well so I can build all of the tool paths right from the same program. I've gotten good at it now. I made all the part models including the tubes myself. Still need to fill in the insides of the tubes. Another benefit, is that by assembling all of the parts I can see if anything is misaligned or bumps into something else.
  8. Took Simone out driving in my manual beetle today. Spent about 30 minutes. She's starting to get the hang of it...
  9. Indeed! I am clinging to my Verizon unlimited account, and sometimes use it to stream Tidal at meets/shows for days on end. I've used 10GB in a weekend doing just that! [emoji6] T-Mo has unlimited streaming for Tidal/Spotify/Netflix/etc. **BRENT** Didn't know they're exempting Tidal now! That's awesome! Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  10. Excellent!! The small box of volume pots should be there shortly.
  11. A fun take on the old staples. She tackles tempi like she spent a month bingeing on Glenn Gould recordings, and it works. This is not your daddy's Four Seasons.

  13. I live in the bay area, and T Mobile coverage has been an issue. I like everything else about them, but I may have to go back to AT&T or Verizon. Your area may differ, but this is the silicon valley, so I don't like your odds. It's probably better than Sprint, but its not as good as AT&T.
  14. They are even better now. They have recently made agreements with US Cellular and Three (International).
  15. I have a Google Fi phone which switches between the Tmobile, Sprint, or available wifi networks, depending upon which is the strongest. And it works for free in Europe (and the rest of the world, too). It did lose coverage in parts of the mountains in MA, but to be fair, so did my old Verizon phone. Coverage via Sprint seemed to be slightly better than Tmobile. I don't actually use much data, and you only pay for what you use, so my monthly phone bill is around $25. Unfortunately, iPhones don't work.
  16. Love your videos Chris! You need some isolation for your mic though (picky picky). It's hard to hear the tire squeal through the vibrations.
  17. Brent is the one to answer this, but my understanding is that it won't work. Unlocked or not, Verizon is its own thing and non-Verizon phones won't work there. Also, Verizon is the worst. Avoid them at all costs. Brent is the one to answer this, but my understanding is that it won't work. Unlocked or not, Verizon is its own thing and non-Verizon phones won't work there. 18. Since the 5, all iphones can do most GSM networks. I don't know if they can port at the apple store,b ut you can buy it, then call verizon and port the number over.
  19. if the 5S is already a good size for you, there's no reason not to get an SE, other than incremental improvements that may come out in september.
  20. yes you can modify any of the power supplies to do that.
  21. Nice that you let your instructor take a couple laps in your car to capture a passable video. Glad you had fun; can't wait to beat you in PCars this week. **BRENT**
  22. Looks like a blast! You drive a nice line when Brent and Grahame aren't there to ram you off the road.
  23. Those tubes probably aren't going to do much without any guts in them.
  24. Is that gravy on the trout? I bow to your Southerness.
  25. That's what's known as a "lipstick lesbian", and yeah, that is definitely a gay club.
  26. I didn't know ice cream could melt in England.
  27. There will be no laughing! My people take our native music very serious. And Queen Summer shall be referred to as Her Royal Highness, may she rest in peace.
  28. A "99" To go with the Summer Clouds
  29. Proper Indian sampler alfresco in Southend
  30. Yesterday I played with Greg's favorite cornhole. Wait...that came out wrong. Funny that the last time I played cornhole was just a couple dozen miles away at The Livery on the Michigan Brew Tour.
  31. I don't think I have ever used more than 4gb a month on my cell phone plan (Verizon). Unless you stream a lot of content I wouldn't consider 12gb.
