"Cavalli Liquid Carbon…well what can I say about this amp. It was bought to simply test out this “wonder amp” and well it didn’t disappoint. Typical Cavalli so their claims about the design are full of lies and the performance is pretty sucktacular. Way too warm and mushy to be considered anything but low end stuff. What this is, is an opamp phase splitter running into a quad of single ended amps with quite possibly the worst power supply I’ve ever tested. There are so many things wrong with this that I didn’t know where to start fixing so I just said “fuck it” and screwed it together again. I did add some feet to it so maybe an upgrade in some way? I’m just going to sell this thing so I can buy some more over-hyped garbage to take apart. It comes with the original box and I believe it has lifetime warranty from Cavalli which people will need if they plug in more than one headphone at the same time.
Price: 400$ plus shipping"
I love your sales policy @spritzer It made my day.
Linguini made with tomato oil, copious garlic, toasted pine nuts, fresh basil, spinach, and parsley, sundried tomatoes, gorgonzola, cream, parm, and linguini. This was earlier tonight.
Applied for a bunch of jobs, then made and served a bunch of pasta, and then played a bunch of board games while listening to a bunch of LPs. Not a bad Thursday evening.
Shape of Despair, Monotony Fields -- a nice return to form after Illusions's Play (2004 album that followed the epic Shades of... and Angels of Distress) and Shape of Despair (2005 album). There's also Written in My Scars EP which I will have to check out, but it's not on their bandcamp. And apparently they have a first album/demo, Alone in the Mist.
Doom Metal -- the slowest, most funereal doom metal. Spine-tinglingly great.
EDIT: Oh, okay, it (Alone in the Mist) is by a previous incarnation, "Raven":
Quick update for those interested in PriceJapan.com - site is no longer displaying any content. This at least means that no more folks can be purchasing goods that never materialize, so perhaps that is a good thing.
EDIT - just launched a dispute with PayPal - then noticed the 6 month time limit. I placed my order on 24th April, and had until 24th October to launch a dispute. Good thing I didn't wait any longer. For anyone else left hanging by PriceJapan.com, I suggest raising a dispute with PayPal or your whatever facility you used for payment asap. Doesn't look like these guys are coming back anytime soon.
I spent the day driving this sweet baby around. Jeff, you are one lucky ass mother-fucker. The 4S was a dream blasting around the mountain roads to Stinson beach. I can't even imagine the GT3.
