Went on a pretty high intensity ride yesterday, so i had planned to take it easy and just enjoy a short trip in the sun today. RIP John McCain. I didn't agree with him on a lot of issues, but I never questioned his patriotism nor his integrity. Qualities sadly lacking in today's clusterfuck.

Rode over to the Route 66 Car Show today. Hot as balls and way too many average ass cars.

More paper work. Width incl. heat sinks 9.5in and length 7.9in. No angel brackets sands mounted direct on heat sinks, saves 1.6in.

All boxes have been shipped except for three international packages that need a special flat rate box that the post office doesn't typically carry. Apparently a plain box with the same dimensions isn't good enough. I mean it is, but it adds $20 to shipping

In other news, I don't like the direction Stax is taking with the made-in-china amps. So we will go from Stax amps needing nothing for 20-30 years to perhaps a 5 year life before the caps give out? That's not really a move forward in my book...

Well, my incision seems to be infected, but I'm finally starting to lose the steroid + IV weight. Opiates not helping with bone pain and then opiates not helping much with vasectomy pain is what diagnosed it. I was on opiates for months, with my leg. I'm not taking any more for my neck, now, and I have about a month's supply left. That is what I think creates addiction, here in the USA.
