This is my Jim Redgate double top classical guitar, I received it on Monday after waiting over a year to be built. This replaced my Dan Kellaway lattice braced guitar which I had for 20 years. It’s an incredible guitar, it’s loud with a big dynamic palette, and a beautiful tone with amazing even balance throughout.6 points

Ha! I forgot to post this before, too, a curiosity. My great-grandfather's Baume Brothers watch. Plated, nothing special, well before the union with Mercier in 1918 -- I would guess late 19th Century based on his age and life story. Went to my grandfather, who reputedly wore it daily, then my Dad, who left it in a drawer since the '60s. Dial is in rough shape as you see, but I had the movement repaired and put a new strap on. It runs OK and my wife now wears it occasionally, for it is teeny tiny by modern standards, maybe 31 - 32 mm. I like having it anyway, feels like a (literal) time capsule from the ancestors!3 points

This is happening on Saturday! I'm really excited. It's the biggest show we've ever booked in terms of financial risk. As ticket sales sit now, we're set to lose money, but I only turn 40 once, soooo...1 point

Oh bugger. That has really knocked be back. I knew he was not well, but did not know that he was that unwell. RIP and godspeed SL - I built his first active design (published in Wireless World) back in the late 70's, and his last large-scale active design (the LX521), which I love and listen to daily. SL's website, a tour de force of loudspeaker design, is safe though - he handed the keys to that across to Frank Brenner (proprietor of https://www.magiclx521.com/ and an airline pilot) some months ago. I guess that might have been a hint that he was poorly.1 point

A "Rotation" of watches. I see what you did there. https://www.thewatchforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/47037-what-is-the-collective-noun-for-watches/1 point

Accuracy of new watches: 117610LN, a watch that is several years old and hasn't been serviced since new: ~+1 sec per week. Seriously. That is either on my wrist or on the watch winder. Cartier Santos (a brand new watch): +1-3 sec per week. Again, seriously, with it either on my wrist (which has been a lot) or on the winder! New Speedmaster: I can't quite tell, as I need to set it each time I wear it (too many watches!), but it seems to be about... drumroll... +1-3 sec a week. Man, modern mechanical watches rock.1 point
