  3. Well I decided to pull the trigger on the omega seamaster bullhead. It arrived today at my local AD. It will live there for some time.. I need to build up some more good will with the wife before bringing it home. I am supposed to buy one watch a year, this would put me at 3 watches in 13 months. The core of my collection is now complete as I really wanted a chrono but did not have one. Stock photo of the variant I got, will do wrist shot when I can pick it up. Hoping to bring it home before the end of the year.

  5. My oldest brother had a ton of music, my early years were definitely influenced by him. He had some Ozark Mountain Daredevils that I do remember liking....but never really got into them on my own. Still, RIP Steve.....

  8. Perhaps you haven't noticed but supporting a competitive fencer is very expensive, but no fears my silence can be purchased for reasonable cash installments.

  9. Briliant! Damn excited by the perspective of those miniature HV supplies. You are never short of wonders Kerry, are you? One day I'll have to study those relay attenuators. The coding (which you provided) and Arduino thing have always seemed too complicated for me ?

  11. "Whoopie Cat breaks barriers of musical nuances by molding together the characteristics of progressive rock and heavy blues; married with heart wrenching vocals. They infuse soulful lyrics with rich melodious vocal harmonies to create a warm and melancholic atmosphere that will captivate and consume the listener." Exemplified in this one, beautiful song. It's got kind of a gospel-ly bent to it. https://whoopiecat.bandcamp.com/track/tell-me-youll-stay

  12. Not today but over the course of the last week, finally got to use the Shapeoko to actually make something. A coworker from the central office is retiring after 46 years of Government service. I decided to make her a custom plaque. First prototype It's basically a relief of the island that the Shipyard is on. Prototype #2 Figured out that I was having some issues zeroing the Z axis, which were entirely user error. ?‍♂️ Final version: I got the shipyard to engrave the small brass tag, I haven't gotten to the point where I can do that yet. Next up, some signs for the local MTB trail network.

  13. I put watches back on bracelets every autumn, and every autumn I remark on how incredibly comfortable the Omega 1171 bracelet is.

  14. Just finished designing the GRHV79xxx, which is the negative rail. I'm going to order some boards and test it out as well. Maybe add this to the group buy if it works On the testing front I'm done test the GRHV78xxx. I've made one small change to the board and will test that as well, but looks good. The GR78xx-Micro looks good and will test the GR79xx-Micro shortly. Michael is making some progress as well and I hope we can get this moving sooner rather than later PS I'm happy using the 7V reference. It requires less current which reduces heat and works well.
