Happy Birthday! Hope you all kept power last night, or at least got it back quickly if lost.

My wife was in Florida, she preemptively changed her flight from yesterday to later tonight....she said literally 2 seats left from FL to Boston, across 3 different airports. Then, maybe 1 hour later, her original flight was cancelled. Very lucky.... We lost power at 8:30pm last night, just got it back at about 5:15 this morning. Made the best of it with LED candles, and lots of pages in my e-book read. Going soon to the fridge to check out what's good or not, think all will be good. Hope others made it through OK!

Ha! And I thought there may have been a chance it would actually be BETTER built then the original.....silly me......

I know your pain! I work in IT as well, and am the resident geek for my family..... I especially love when I have to talk with one of the "older generation" and they describe EVERY single byte of what they see on the screen. And all of this just so they can click "OK" The other one I like is when they get an error popup, they say something like "It's yelling at me...." Users.....! I once told my mom she had the typical ID Ten "T" error (ID10T).....she did end up chuckling......

RIP to my sister-in-law Carol.....a wonderful, silly, generous, smart, sometimes neurotic woman who loved her family, especially her two kids, more than I thought humanly possible. Had been having epileptic seizures off and on, meds weren't fully helping; usually seizures in sets of two when they came. She and my brother were in Florida visiting my older nephew. Apparently last night she had two seizures but then a third, went back to bed after, and never woke up. I'm going to miss you horribly....may your love shine down from heaven.
