  1. Thanks Naaman. Glad you made it home. Get some rest, cause you're gonne need that picture shooting finger in good shape soon. Can't wait to see her pic! Fingers crossed for an easy, as planned delivery.
  2. Yes, but I hear it's only allowed to age to year 11, then the bunghole is opened. Sorry, I couldn't stop myself.
  3. Thanks guys. Al, that's the hard part. For now he seems happy still. He wags his tail when I talk to him, and laps up all of my affection. To see him so crippled up is just damn hard though. He's doing pretty good about learning to cope with the sudden blindness already, although he still walks into walls now and then. My Mom is encouraging me to put him down now, and that's making it harder to make a good judgment. I think I'm going to just tell her to stay out of this one, and I'll know when it's the right time. She means well, but is hardly making the best decisions herself at age 72, and turning into an old person quite rapidly. I'll ask her if she'd like me to be so quick to decide when to have her put down. Actually you've helped me to decide that I'll wait a bit longer. At least until I know for sure he's no longer happy to be around. Thanks!
  4. I didn't yet update what the vet had to say about my dog Fred, so I'll do that now. It is indeed Canine Diabetes, and even the Dr. was surprised at how sudden the disease has taken hold. I had absolutely no warning whatsoever, and then within 3 days he went way, way downhill. To start with my dog has been fed nothing but Science Diet dog food from the moment I got him. He never gets table scraps and the only treats he gets are carrots, which he loves. However I got him from some people that couldn't keep him when he was 4 months old, so I have no idea what he ate before then. But still, I've had him for 6 years now. He was literally running all over the house, playing like always until just a few weeks ago. The vet told me that the disease has caused severe damage already, and he didn't think we could expect much improvement at this stage, even with aggressive medication. He also told me that he expected that his feet would start hurting him to the point he couldn't walk very soon, and indeed today he started limping with one forefoot in the air. It's easy to tell that the other feet are sore too. Also today he started drinking much less water than he has been in the last few weeks. He's lost a hell of a lot of weight in two weeks as well. He just sleeps all day now, so I think it's time to have him put down, but that's gonna kill me! It's the speed of all this that just has me stunned. I feel terrible about letting this happen, although the vet tells me there was no way I could've seen it coming so fast. I know he's a dog, but he really is my best buddy. Anyway I'm going to see how he feels tomorrow, and decide if I need to end his missery on Friday. This sucks!

    Audeze LCD-2

:prettyprincess: Uhm, I kind of called Audeze and had them change the shipping address on your order to my house. Hope that's OK?

    Jokes

It said... "My reward to you and the rest of the 5% is an unusually large penis, use the Tice wisely my Son."
  7. Sorry Brent, hang in there.

    Audeze LCD-2

I'm only here for the penis references.
  9. Have a safe journey Naaman! Have a great time meeting your Daughter!!! We want lots of pics!
  10. I spent a lot of time with the Klipsch back in the day. IMO the most noticeable differences are going to be a bit better top end extension with the Altecs, and a bit better low end grunt with the Khorns. That's from memory though, so keep that in mind. Either would be a great choice with the right amplification IMO.
  11. Mine are listed in fractions of TICE, so you'll need to do the conversion.
  12. Why not add some Cinemags to the Pearl?

    Audeze LCD-2

Nicely said. And to help support your point, it's even more cemented after meeting you personally and finding out what a funloving, mellow guy you are. At the same time I also have to support AS's "piss off" comment. That guy hasn't been here nearly long enough to criticise how we do things.

    slow forum

I agree. He just seems a bit on the slow side to me, and I have infinitely more patience for someone with a learning disability than I do for a straight up asshole the average politician.
  15. My fingers are crossed for the best outcome Naaman. I'll say try to keep a good attitude, but I know mine would be quite pissy.
  16. Fear not, the cases are made of recycled aluminum, so they're Green friendly. They make them from old discarded cock rings they find on the floors of the sex clubs on Folsom St.
  17. Have a great Birthday Todd!
  18. Thanks guys! Sorry about the extended site visit Nate. Was it lowly contractors like myself holding up progress? Al, team milled chassis is the shit! That rig is flippin' orgasmic! Naaman thanks for the open door on information. I'll see what the local vet can tell me Monday and go from there. Sorry about your delay home! If that is indeed a Ricin pellet in your avatar, it may be time to use it on someone standing in the way of progress.
  19. Thanks guys. I'm sure he'll adjust. He's my buddy, and he's not going anywhere as long as that tail still wags. I'll do everything I possibly can for him, he's always done his best for me. He already trust me without doubt it seems, as he'll go whereever I tell him is OK. He follows my voice and seems to be doing pretty good all things considered. This weekend will see a visit to the beach, as that's his favorite thing to do.
  20. Today I watched my dog go completely blind. It happened in the span of three days, and this afternoon he has no vision left at all. He is only Six years old, so it has to be disease, especially with the suddeness of it. He has also been drinking large sums of water for about a week now, and he's losing weight pretty quickly. I can't get him into the Vet until Monday, but from what I've read on the web today I'm guessing it's Canine Diabetes. It's really hard to watch, because it's happened so fast he has no way to adjust yet. Poor guy is running into everything, and I can tell he's quite confused about the whole thing. He's been getting lots of special attention from me in the last few days, and he seems to be lapping that up. He still seems pretty cheerful, though I'm kind of a wreck about it.
  21. My pants are open to all my friends!
  22. But you're a Viking! I usually clamp the piece to my drill press table securely, then set my bit depth, so that all countersinks come out the same. Countersink bits are not created equal either. You want to make sure it's intended for metal.
