Looks like the Microchip version is just a Supertex device with their own branding The only difference I could find is the document version. Supertex = Version E051509 Microchip = Version F111010 From Octopart, the datasheet link for the Supertex device sends you here:- http://datasheet.octopart.com/DN2540N8-G-Supertex-datasheet-14062240.pdf From Octopart, the datasheet link for the Microchip device sends you here:- http://datasheet.octopart.com/DN2540N8-G-Microchip-datasheet-27836262.pdf From the Microchip site the datasheet is:- http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/DN2540%20B060313.pdf which is exactly the same document as the one just above. Both are Supertex Doc. #:DSPD-3TO243AAN8, Version F111010
  4. G600, Methinks it would also be a good idea to remove the flux from the board as a matter of concern. At these voltages, it's very advisable to limit the chances of leakage between connections caused by the flux.
  5. The M12 is a preamp and DAC. The C510 is the replacement for the M51 and it has the volume control on front instead of via the remote.

  14. I used to cal them for about 20 years. The first handheld flukes had a problem with the LCD displays when used in highly humid conditions and we used to replace them with tropicalised dilsplays. Nowadays they are just excellently built throughout. The funny thing was, some (and only some) of the cheaper multimeters were more accurate than the flukes, but they seemed to only last a few years and they never showed up for calibration. The Flukes used to show up regularly for years unless they met with an accident like being run over by a tank or dropped from a very great height.
  15. Have you checked the AC voltage out of the transformer without it being connected to the power supply board?
