  1. Thanks, everyone. Losing a beloved family pet is tough but I am glad we were able to give her nearly 19 happy years. It is hard to believe she has been in my family since I was 12-13 years old.
  2. My poor cat, Sushi wasn't feeling well last night so I took her in to the vet this morning. He said her kidneys had failed and that it was her time. Sushi made it to just two weeks shy of her 19th birthday. I am very sad, but she had a good, long life. She was a very good pet to me and my family. RIP, Sushi.
  3. iOS 10/Watch OS 3 Update Day! I don't know why, but updating software on my devices makes me feel happy. Got 10 up on my iPad Pro and 6+ and Watch OS 3 on the watch. No issues to report.
  4. Gymkhana 9!!!!!
  5. Ah, I see. It is already the 13th down undah. Happy birthday, JWMC!
  6. What are you doing with those hands, Neil?!
  7. I've always been a sucker for polished/well-produced stuff, so while I prefer their later catalog I understand where you are coming from. Tonight's listen. Dorothy - ROCKISDEAD. I like it.
  8. Heck, pull out their entire catalog.
  9. Been binging hard on Krautrock at work this week, in particular Kraftwerk and Neu! For whatever reason, I've had a very productive week. [Insert witty line about German efficiency here]
  10. Yeah, based on your post above the Copenhagen might be a better fit for your tastes.
  11. So are you keeping it?
  12. Synth playlist inspired by "Stranger Things" on Tidal. <3 https://tidal.com/playlist/fd74dfe5-189e-4bb1-a28b-f7c4af41fda7
  13. Faster, better camera, waterproof? Sure, why not. Seems like a nice upgrade.

    Get your game on!

I don't normally play iOS games, but holy balls, the "Sorcery!" series is amazing. If you enjoyed choose-your-own-adventure books as a kid then these games are just what the doctor ordered. I'm about to start the third after completing the first two. Just wonderful games. This series, along with "80 Days," are some of the very best mobile games ever. 5/5.
  15. I tried to get in to Mr. Robot. The first two episodes were dynamite, but it lost me after that. Made it to the big twist and I think I'm done.
  16. Wow! I've heard them at shows and I bet they sound even better in your room!
  17. I never thought they'd get booted to the curb so quickly, but I have gone ahead and brought in the HD800S to use at work. No need to keep them at home any more when the Utopia is around.
  18. If you already have a 009/BH I'd pass on these.
  19. I bought one.
  20. The price still makes me sick to my stomach, but damn! As of today this is the best dynamic headphone I've heard (non-stat division). The Utopia is exceptionally balanced and really seems to have no weakness. Once these start making it out in to the wild I'll be interested to see what others think.
  21. This one hurts. RIP, Gene Wilder.
  22. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Get your game on!

Quantum Break If you've liked Remedy's games in the past (Max Payne, Alan Wake) this is another great one. It took months for the PC version to finally be patched up to a decent state, but it was worth the wait. I am a sucker for time travel stories, and this game has some very interesting takes on that formula. Gameplay is fun, fast, and fluid. The live action TV show segments were just ok. They didn't really add to the experience but they weren't a big annoyance either. 4/5. Very fun game. Overlooked due to XBone exclusivity but great that its now in good shape on PC. Rise of the Tomb Raider Great game! If you liked the first reboot, then this one takes that game and cranks everything up a notch or two. The game looks and runs great, is fun to play and has a serviceable story. The level design is the real star here. Every part of the game is wonderful to explore. The highlight of the game for me was the tombs themselves. They are beautiful and fun to figure out, even if they tend to be rather simple. I spent just under 20 hours on my play-though and enjoyed every minute. 4.5/5. Very highly recommended! A better story would have made this a classic.
  24. ^ Amen. ST was definitely one of the pleasant surprise shows of this year. Now we wait.
