In honor of Pitchfork's 50-greatest shoegaze albums list I'm starting with this. http://pitchfork.com/features/lists-and-guides/9966-the-50-best-shoegaze-albums-of-all-time/

Even got the Draymond Green nut-shots in there. Bravo!

I plunked down for the version of Forza that includes all DLC so I'm committed.

Doug has my Ravenswood in house as well at the moment.

Very sad and most unfortunate that she didn't tell you what she was planning on doing so you could at least make an informed decision.

So I've been chatting with Brent regarding the next game we should play. My own personal vote is for Forza (great car action) or Gears 4 (best PvE of the group), both of which I'm currently playing and both of which I think are fantastic. Horde mode in Gears 4 is what Killing Floor 2 should have been. I am open to picking up one of either Titanfall 2 or Battlefield 1 if others are interested. Both BF1 and TF2 are also reviewing quite well.

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday to the king of the deep-cuts!

Waiting for a 7AM flight to Chicago for a work conference.

I think that is part of the fun of the Westworld experience. No one really knows where they are going to go with it. That and the cast is phenomenal for a TV series.

HYPE!!!!!!

I'm telling you, get it (or at least try the demo). FH3 is less about improving your racing skills than it is living out your car fantasies, but that doesn't mean it isn't an absolute blast to play.

Happy birthday, CS!

Happy birthday, AB!

Happy birthday, Peter!

Forza Horizon 3 got patched on PC Friday and now I can recommend it without qualification. You guys need to let Santa know that this is on your list this holiday season. There is also a demo out for it but I think the demo is only available on Xbox One. FH3 is more arcade-y than PCars, but damn is it ever fun. I just bought a WRX and raced in a WRX vs. Evo showdown. Squee!

On SHM SACD. ? I think this is my favorite album of theirs. The first three tracks are just dynamite. I really like Mark's guitar lines here. His lyrics aren't bad either.

I am obsessed with Kate right now. So sensual, intelligent, and fearless. Above all, so unique!

There aren't separate versions anymore. Buy it once Xbox or PC and you can play on the other as well with your microsoft/xbox-live account. The same also applies to Forza Horizon 3.

Congrats on the big award this week, Bob!

^ So how does your situation work at a UK national living in the US? Do you still get to vote by mail-ballot?

I voted.

Played through the prologue and Act 1 last night in a co-op campaign with a friend on Hard difficulty. So. Much. Fun. The game looks and runs perfect on PC. Finally, a DX12 game done right. I can't wait to keep playing this weekend. If anyone else picks this up, hit me up and lets all join up for some Horde-Mode multiplayer. I believe the game is cross-platform and that PC players and Xbox One players can play together. My Xbox Live Tag is "T Money 58"

RIP to the King of Thailand. Anyone who has ever been to Thailand or even eaten at a Thai restaurant (every one I've ever been to has hung his portrait) knows how much the Thai people loved their king. He was a modern, progressive, stabilizing force. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/14/world/asia/thai-king-bhumibol-adulyadej-dies.html
