Not really sure what happened to him. Seem to be many conflict reports.
  2. I owned the X707ES briefly and thought they sounded great but I still prefer the sound of the newer XA7ES, and SCD-1 to it. I would suggest you not to buy it as the laser units for older Sony CDPs are discontinued.
  3. Sum up your strenght and don't forget to post some impression! Have a safe trip.

  7. It is possible with the XA5400ES, but I don't think Justin will make it with the Sony SCD-1 in a backpack.

I think it should fit o.k. The original foam insert from the HD-650's box fit almost perfectly inside the case. Wish the case is a bit deeper, but I can't complain much for the price.

The package arrived earlier today. They are a bit smaller than I thought but fit the HD-650 just fine. My R10 won't fit in this case.

How about log into your account, you should find the tracking number there. According to UPS site, it should arrive tomorrow.
  15. Very nice sounding DAC especially for the price and size. Arguably the best pound per pound DAC in the world!! If memory serves me correct the Pico should be in the same level of performance to the Benchmark DAC.

Thanks again. My Pico DAC finally arrived yesterday and the sound is pretty darn nice. I wish the economy outlook at the place I work at is a bit better as I want to buy the HD800 and more gears in the future!

Yep, that what I thought to. You can put your amps in there, few portables as well. That case should fit most headphones. I prefer the look of this case for than the pelican case though.

Mine is made by digicom and look to be identical to what shown on the picture. Well....I bought 4, one to store the L3000, another for the Big O, and the rest for tubes and maybe camera. You can't beat the price though....really.
  23. purk replied to Dreadhead's topic in Portable Audio
thanks for the link! Bought 4! I own a bigger version of this case and it built really well and work great with my DHA3000 amp.
  24. When? :D
