Chainsaw, just like in the video. Used eye, ear, and hand protection (special gloves). Wedge was not perfect, but since I started with that was able to fix it. Back cut aim was off, but again I was able to redo it in time. Wouldn't budge, so cut backcut deeper. Still wouldn't budge, so I cut it deeper. Started to go in exactly the direction I wanted it to go, so I ran....perpendicularly to the fall. It fell with a satisfying "thud". Wonderfully cathartic. I think I might cut another piece for a shelf I'm making.

I felled a tree. Fell in exactly the direction I wanted it to, only a little bit of a barber chair. I feel so outdoorsy. Thanks to this video:

Thanks for reminding me. My Tidal use has dropped way off, because it doesn't Scrobble on the mobile app, and I do love to Scrobble. I should probably just temporarily cancel. EDIT: I downgraded. Spotify allows you to download on the Windows app, FYI. I should see about MacOS... And yes, there are several features that are on the mobile app that are not on the desktop, and Scrobbling on the desktop and not on the app.

The Knuckledragger 3rd Memorial Slow Forum Post

Clickbait link 189 Bodies found decomposing in "Return to Nature Funeral Home", which specializes in green funerals. They didn't abide by the laws, so they just left the bodies to rot, but they SURE WERE GREEN. -

It probably went bonkers* several times over. *"goes bonkers" is a unit of time in chaos theory -- it's when the endpoint and the beginningpoint don't remotely look alike.
-
...and she shared it with her history of electronic music professor (which she also taught).

Is there any way you can use the heat to bake bread? You know, to commemorate the occasion...? I bet that would be a hot seller. Sorry, completely inappropriate humour.
-
Oh, I am so sharing that with my microtonal-obsessed friend.

My favourite episode of Relatively Certain: https://jqi.umd.edu/news/taming-chaos-physics-and-ai I love that she doesn't sound like a physics professor. And I love the unit of time, "goes bonkers".

Yeah, it's funny what people think prog is any more, either. Half the time, it's just songs that aren't based on loops.

Thinking ... I don't even know what to think...Positive, lava-stopping, earthquake-gentling thoughts in a general Icelandic direction.

Thank you so much for your input, Antonio. You have never steered any of us wrong, so I will heed and continue calling around until I can get on a waitlist. And I apologize for my cranky tone earlier, to both of you. I would prefer this thread be reserved for celebrating original music by our members, so I will see if I can move these messages to another thread, or at least split it off from this one. POS health care == medicaid + no income/savings left to spend on myself. Just arranged to sell off some stock and transfer it to myself, because I agree with you -- it needs to be taken care of ASAP, even if it needs to be at my own cost.
