What are you listening to Part the Third
I saw them on the Perpetuum Mobile tour, so I've got that going for me. I also saw Triumph on the Progressions of Power tour. A friend of mine took a photo that ended up in one of their albums later (in mid-pyrotechnics), not sure if it was Allied Forces, though. Me: Sparkle in the Rain, super deluxe edition on Tidal.

This is one of those videos that you just have to watch twice in immediate succession, because you can't believe what you just saw the first time...she's not of this planet: https://www.facebook.com/LOVERBOY32/videos/929258240417735/

The Live Music Thread
Yup, seeing him in about 2.5 weeks, myself. I have a friend in the UK who already saw the show and it's supposed to be great.

What are you listening to Part the Third
I've been listening to this all day, and I hear something different every time I listen to it -- now it's neo-folk/neo-classical, and I don't hear any Sigur Ros, so ... I don't know what to tell you -- here is a link so you can stream it and decide for yourself, but it's really quite nice, that's about all I can say consistently: linkydink. I already ordered the vinyl.

What are you listening to Part the Third
Arstidir (see above for indigenous spelling), Hvel -- this is superb! Proggy acoustic -- obviously not native English speakers, but it gives it a quaintness that I quite like. The musicianship and production values are fantastic. RIYL mellower Sigur Ros, acoustic Alan Parsons Project. Going to have to pick up the vinyl of this, I think.

And now what did you do TODAY?
I've been drinking lots of orange juice, should probably drink some just plain water, but at least I've lightened up on the tea (diuretic); for the most part, have been getting rest, except for Friday night -- coughing kept me up, and didn't want to fry my liver/kidneys/whatever as a result of taking too much meds, but seem to be caught up now; And yeah, took a detour with some comfort food (Chinese), going to go back to chicken soups for the duration; and yes, I've been taking lots of cold-eeze (Zinc). Thanks.

Post what you're watching
I've been enjoying it. Me: just finished the fourth Ghost in the Shell: Arise -- Ghost Stands Alone -- quite liked. Gave up on waiting for it to hit Netflix, watched it on Amazon Prime, and happily the subtitles weren't fucked up there (they are on the third one [on Netflix]).

And now what did you do TODAY?
I am relatively better (today, than yesterday, for example, and certainly better than last Monday/Tuesday), just not all better. I'll take it.

And now what did you do TODAY?
I'm pretty sure there was a fever on the first day or two (when I had the chills). But I also distinctly felt it "break" (I don't remember when, now, but you know how when you start sweating profusely -- just a drenching sweat -- and you can't drink enough water, and then -- just as 'all of a sudden' -- it's gone).

Netflix recommendations
My boss said something the other day which makes sense -- he is of the belief that comic books translate better to series and mini-series better than movies, being serials and all. To that end, I believe Arrow is also streaming on Netflix.
