  1. Black >> pepsi Looks shiny and new.
  2. Oh, hey, that wouldn't be dusty chalk, would it? Oh.
  3. What are you saying, he's basically in the closet in California? Aye keed, aye keed. Steve, I love that you're going into this with your head held high... ...and your other head held even higher.
  4. Portal.
  5. @ self And: no, I couldn't eat that. Me, shortly: strawberries, un-Vitamix-ed.
  6. Haven't seen either of those. I'm thinking she's just really memorable in everything she does, because the show absolutely fetishizes on her face, and it's extremely unique and expressive...and familiar. And she was cast so perfectly for the role -- she's got that Roxy Music album cover looks to her. The scene at the end of episode 3 ("this is how it would work" in answer to the question, "how could it ever work") -- yeah, exactly.
  7. Looks great, except for that one pic of a dirty plate. Really? You went ahead and posted that? Aye keed, aye keed...looks like a real foody place with a real eye towards presentation. My only complaint would have been the pizza -- everything else looked great. And yes, double wowzers on the desert.
  8. The cat in the nerdy love song needs to be renamed to Capo. Or Joe (as in Strummer).
  9. Aw man, just realized I'm not going to have an excuse to visit SF now that my sister is moving back here. Bummed. Bruce Soord with Jonas Renke, Wisdom of Crowds -- damn, just damn. Album of the year for me. Not metal, repeat, not metal. Don't. Fucking. Care. Not one iota.
  10. Does Gene need to know about this arrangement?
  11. OM, those are gorgeous. Also -- nice match -- wood for Dr. Wood.
  12. Vinegar is teh awsum for cleaning, that's what I'll use. I buy it by the CostCo-sized two-fer thingy. You can never get all the soap taste out of your teapot/water pitcher/carafe/blender/what-have-you, but with vinegar it's no big. Bee pollen? What does that do? (That's actually two questions -- what does that do to the taste, and what does that do for you in terms of health benefits -- is it one of those all-encompassing good things?)
  13. Is good, yes. Maybe not Dark Knight good, but quite good, yes. Upper echelon for soundtrack work. Need to see movie, though.
  14. Hit & Miss -- this is actually really good, I'll probably watch all the (6) episodes. Why am I so familiar with Chloe Sevigny? It's like I've seen at least one movie with her in the lead, but looking at her filmography, I've only seen American Psycho (bit part), Demonlover (> bit part, but < starring role), and Zodiac (bit part).
  15. Pacific Rim soundtrack -- man, I can't even look at the track titles, there look like there be spoilers. Here's to hoping I forget by the time I see the movie. Also hoping that they're out of order.
  16. Ooh, BB&B ([craig kilbourn voice]for your bedroom, your bathroom, and your beyondroom..[/voice]) has them? Might have to do that, I kind of wanted the red one, too.
  17. Canvas Solaris, Irradiance -- \mm/
  18. Is that the decoy pentagon?
  19. "...brick & mortar porn shops..."
  20. All this smoothie talk has made me want a smoothie, so I went out and got a smoothie from Bluberi -- sugar water, meh. I think I'll be investing in a Vitamix soon. The local Wegmans has something similar for significantly less, but it's still targeted at smoothies, both green and otherwise, I'm a gonna go look into that (don't remember brand right now).
  21. I just wish it wasn't raining when the artist drew this, it might've been easier to tell.
  22. So greens are too tough on most food processors, mixers, blenders, etc.?
  23. The Apex Theory -- I love this album so much. Didn't realize they released a single 15 minute track a couple years later. It's superb, and kind of spacey.
  24. Carly Simon?
