Um...um...no, you may not ask. Heh-heh. Indeed, 'well sort of'.

Definitely introduce him to the entry drug known as headphones.

Bruce Soord with Jonas Renke, Wisdom of Crowds Fuck this is good. So up my alley -- it's like since it isn't Anathema nor Katatonia, they are free to express their less metal side, and ... just ... words ... not ... adequate ...

It's either, "the whole crew was wondering, who the fuck is this?", or ""the whole crew was wondering who the fuck this is." It's my girlfriend. She's a beat poet named Ratty Annie. People start spontaneously playing the bongos on tabletops and bald heads when she talks. She's turned straight girls gay, and gay men straight with her doesn't-even-rhyme poetry in lambic pentameter. (It's a bit sour.) Also, your mama.

I know, right? 4 hours on a Friday afternoon does seem like a long time to show only one product when you realize it's prime advertising time for someone like Amazon. It's like they wanted a break in sales.

Lollers. In political news, I'm confused -- so is it god's loophole or innit? VA Gov. candidate trying to reinstate ban on oral, anal sex Hint: article gets pretty weird -- sex with a 17-year-old is legal in Virginia...sort of? -
Hit & Miss -- wow, who would ha' thought that a show about a cold-blooded tranny contract killer played non-comedically could tug at the heartstrings like that. Okay, I did laugh at the prosthetic penis. But I think I'd laugh at any flaccid penis. Which probably wouldn't get me laid a lot if I was gay.

Kyle has the best friends. -
Thanks! (wanders off to look up moar Karin Schaupp) Me, currently: Breathe Carolina -- wtf is this shit? Who dafog is this supposed to appeal to -- remember that track by Attack Attack that had the disco breakdown in the middle of some screamo? This is like the opposite -- it's pop vocal techno that occasionally goes screamo. WAT. I'm just jealous because I didn't think of it first.

Initial response: yes, at least for a couple more episodes. Don't read the rest of this, unless you need further convincing. It's best to go in cold, and not know what you're getting into. I love being surprised and Luther did not disappoint. There's nothing stereotypical about Luther -- what I like so much about him is that he's not a good cop, he's not entirely clean. I mean, you see him really cross a line right there at the beginning, but you don't realize what an important moment that is until it haunts him pretty much for the rest of the show. And best of all, he knows it, so there's all sorts of turmoil that manifests in multiple ways. And it festers, so it's not just perpetual doom and gloom and woe is me, there's some definite character...uh...growth isn't the right word, as it's not all for the better. It's a thinking person's show, it's not just typical Hollywood happy endings every 43 minutes. Remains to be seen if it (the depth of the show) persists in season 03. I got nothing for your problem with Alice. She's a delight. She makes psychopathy look good. It does get a little ridiculous, but not until much later in season 01. Oh and don't get me started with the wife. That particular story arc was superbly done.

I'm really glad that there was all that controversy about Tarja leaving Nightwish, 'cause now she's trying harder, and damnit, I think she's doing some interesting things. To wit, this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PHr2NHfCjo Not sure what she's trying to say about the color black, though. (squints)

Also, Amazon sent me a link to rate packaging.

I can see it. EDIT: That was a references to the visual similarities between tubes and nuns. I wonder if Clare Grant and Seth Green are seeing each other: -
They hit me the same way, and I have no idea what anything has to do with Altos. Don't know if it's her voice, his musicianship and arrangement skills, or my knowledge behind the music story, but they have that kind of happy-go-lucky-hiding-something that The Cardigans also have.

Lots and lots of Lacrimas Profundere -- gothy metal with clean baritone, Peter Steele-style vocals, but not slow like Type O Negative.

I do believe you win. -
Tell me about it. My allergy filter masks last about 3 walks, and then it's exercise just to try to breathe through them. Diaphragm exercise.

From my small experience with it, positioning is absolutely critical in getting decent sound out of it, and not all people can get it and consistently. Also (and this is not fit-related) : people don't really associated such open cans with travel (think the opposite of Ety's), so ... that reduces the market somewhat (not an issue, and not trying to make it to be, just trying to explain their lack of popularity -- it's a very specific market -- Torpedo's call shifts sounds like a perfect application).

I should probably listen to that before Saturday, but instead I'm listening to John Wesley, Shiver, which is actually quite foot-tappingly good. I'd want him to accompany me. Were I good enough to, you know, warrant accompanying by him.
