I understand that "sucked in and wouldn't let leave" comment -- that's exactly what that record did for me -- I just kept wanting to go back and listen to it. Went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe, had a nice fruit smoothie -- lot better than Bluberi's, I suspect less sugar water. They appear to have recently introduced a kale lemonade smoothie, which I will try next time (wanted to try with something safe and known first).

Sometimes spelled "Ka-Prao" and variations. It's basically Thai basil -- in fact, most restaurants, when you order one or the other, you'll get the same thing. But I've been to at least one restaurant that prepared them differently (mostly in the mincing of the chicken). There's no bacon involved, so I wouldn't expect you to remember all that.

If you're still running a hard drive, SSD's run much cooler. That said, I use this X-shaped one on my Sony Vaio at home: I forget why, probably just because it looked cool and didn't do any worse than any of the others I could find based on a quick survey of amazon ratings while standing in a MicroCenter. The little nubs bother me, though -- I would have thought that you'd want full contact, rather than spacers.

Fuck you both. Funny thing about San Francisco -- it's on the same Latitude as DC. The difference is, DC is a drained swamp, San Francisco is a bay. Go to the other side of the mountains, and it's a desert (only one es this time), but the Pacific ocean keeps it temperate. Oh, and I left one out -- I fully expected it to be too hot for my very clingy kitty to cuddle -- you know, because of his fur coat? -- nuh-uh, we just spent a good 15 minutes with him laying on my chest. I had to evict him, he didn't evict himself. (Best discovery ever? Carnot cycle.)
