Didn't someone here say they like Au Revoir Simone? I totally dig it in a Stereolab/Ladytron sort of way.

Someone in the YouTube comments posits that it's a CO2 fire extinguisher. I agree it looks like something mechanical like compressed air, but it sure looks like it was aimed at the house, like it was trying to get in the window. I'm going with water spirit. -

That's the way I interpreted Justin's question and Al's retort. -
Seriously. If Laura Prepon doesn't get an Emmy nom, the world isn't fair. The expression on her face when she says, "of course you do"...wow. I had to watch that scene like 3 times. Role of a lifetime. And I was already a fan, but nothing beforehand compares to this. EDIT #1: that entire conversation is one for the books. Just...unholy carp, where did that come from? EDIT #2: Just finished season one myself -- unholy carp, that was amazing. EDIT #3: I love the fact that they represent evangelical Christians as trailer trash. That's pretty much my view of them in real life, if a bit oversimplified.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus -- I know most people disagree, but this is their apex for me. Just perfection from beginning to end, even with the silly flutes, that's just comedy gold right there.

Sorry I keep posting pictures of her, I just think she's hawt because she ( a ) actually writes her own songs, and ( b ) synthpop. And because I think she's hawt. Also, something I noticed recently: "less than" -> <3 <- "three" "cone" ------> <3 <- "double scoop (of ice cream)" "hat" --------> <3 <- "ass" (squints) -
Tropical Smoothies actually do a couple green ones. I almost tried one the other day.

I've had that problem, and in my case I had a particularly revealing system that adhered too much to the output of my DAC. In my case, the solution was to get a smoother DAC.

This was ridiculously entertaining.

I don't buy watches any more, but if so, I'd probably get a few Androids:

Hey, what'd you ever decide Justin? If you did, I missed it. You're welcome to borrow the HRT MusicStreamer Pro (previous generation). -
Profit! Well...negative loss, anyway...

Yes, that could easily be the case. Cats -- unlike dogs -- do not like to travel (e.g. in cars) and/or being relocated. When I moved to the new apartment, Bobby (still a catpup) spent the entire night in the litter box, and the senior citizen never fully acclimated. I was told this when I mentioned a "playdate" on Facebook, by one of my cat rescue org friends. Basically, a play date is a bad idea, and moving is fairly traumatic to a cat. So yeah, keep her isolated for at least another week, but even once you let her out, there will be an acclimatization period. Best to keep an especially watchful eye on her for the next couple days (and perhaps spend extra time with her), and in the first week or so when you let her out. Once she considers this her home, all will be well.

And you usually have to change https to http. I'm posting this for two reasons -- the third thought bubble, and the name of the image -- the name of the image made me think there was a new interactive adult video game named "Wine Hero" -- at which I'd probably lose, but would still want to play. I have no idea how to play it, but presume it involves drinking wine. Also, from the makers of Wine Hero -- Beer Hero (I think we can presuppose that emelius would be the top ranking winner of that one), Whisk(e)y Hero, Bourbon Hero, Cocktail Hero, Tequila Hero, the Wine Hero mobile app...
