  1. Blue Microphones Mikey 2.0 -- & I don't even have an iPhone/iTouch...yet.
  2. Les Trois Mousquetaires...something -- doppelbock? I forget, has kind of a peach-ish label. Very, very good. EDIT: Yes, the unfiltered doppelbock.
  3. Jacob -- what's the verdict on Keisuke Wakao? Thinking of getting this. ...in addition to Rush's Moving Pictures (yes, really this time).
  4. That was outstanding -- loved it. Faux-rizona.
  5. The Strange Love of Martha Ivers -- this is kind of wonderful. I'm really enjoying the chemistry between Antonia 'Toni' Marachek (Lizabeth Scott) and Sam Masterson (Van Heflin).
  6. New Holland Dragon's Milk
  7. So what new releases are you excited about? Me: I really, really dug their last two releases, Polarity and Vertical Theory, though I doubt this will be anything like that, based on the description. But I'll love 'em whatever they do.
  8. Was cleaning in the basement, so in a little bit, having a Bashah (totally forgot it was my favorite beer for a while, need to drink them now).
  9. I don't remember McCann's taking particularly long to cook in the microwave, but I do remember it taking long, but I thought that was because the way I did it -- I had to keep the heat down to 50%, because the bowl would keep boiling over, and I'd have to keep stopping it. (No, we don't have a rotator.) I'll have some tonight, see how long it takes. I seem to remember 10-ish minutes.
  10. Dew. Et. Tomorrow. Or rather, later today.
  11. Meh. The two I've gone to in NY were better, IMHO. But I have a tendency to prefer "Americanized" indigenous dishes more than "authentic" (Chinese, Indian, Mexican). I'll have to remember to hit one or two when I go up (to NY) in September, but this will hold me over until I do. The quest remains.
  12. Finally trying first of the ramen places in DC, Toki Underground Sent from mah Droid

  15. HTC to officially stop locking bootloaders on Android smartphones
  16. He's graduating from ninja school. I cleaned my mom's gutters once. I uprooted a sapling. It was awesome. Glad to hear Mr. Deathwish isn't dead yet!
  17. Last night: had some TNT. Wow. Kind of dyn-o-mite, if you consider the taste explosion that goes off in your mouth -- first of all, it's a doppelbock, but it's also a weizen doppelbock, and then they add tea to it. So it's pretty bizarre. I kind of like it. Weird nose, too. It's like that girl you find strangely attractive, though she doesn't conform to any standard norm of attractive -- at least on paper.
  18. Just finished, in rapid succession: Chick Fil-A Banana Pudding Pie milkshake Chick Fil-A Unsweetened Iced Tea/Regular Lemonade mix now working on a Faux-rizona I will not be in my bunk.
  19. Honey badger don't care, honey badger don't give a shit, it just takes what it wants.
  20. Not just now -- but yeah, I'm about due for a threadless order.
  21. Uh, no, my computer is on here 24/7, but if you do some statistics on my posting patterns, you'll notice they're grouped into small, isolated blocks. And -10 reading comprehension points on ignoring my (and others') point(s) -- that we didn't need to go through the trouble that you did to determine that -- get this -- we agree with you, he's a shyster! Not that we don't care care, we just don't -- like a motherfuckin' honey badger -- care.
  22. I need the Dark Side of the Moon cover done with pizza, only instead of the white beam of light turning into a rainbow of colors, it does the physically correct thing and just hits the pizza and dissipates. Perhaps there is coincidentally an air bubble right there.
