  1. Pub Dog Bourbon Barrel Chocolate Oatmeal Stout -- meh, needs milk (stout). EDIT: Er...that was last night, not right now, while I'm at work. LOL. Obviously I drink wine when I'm at work, not beer.
  2. The honey badger should be the head-case mascot -- we just don't give a shit, neither.
  3. We did care, we just already suspected, and have long since stopped buying never bought any of their products. You don't have a hidden agenda, you have an agenda that you wear like a badge. Or a shield. Or a battery-powered LED-lit multi-colored raincoat. I mean, don't you have anything better to do?
  4. No, I think you're right, moar ball-licking would lead to less war. (sighs) I wish that was my life. I have nice simple dreams.
  5. Cat food, kitty litter eat sleep poop sleep eat sleep poop sleep lick balls...repeat
  6. (smiles knowingly) "Fell"? "Slipped"? "Accidentally"? Yeah yeah right...
  7. A belated cheers to Shelly, Hoboken bitches, Al (sorry to hear about your circumstances), et al. I had a Widdershins last night -- hoppy barleywine -- Left Hand, so was very very good. I should chill a bottle of TNT to compare, but I forgot.
  8. ...except I have it practically memorized at this point, so trying "Starless" by King Crimson a try -- quite nice. 1:39:06 @ 8.04x (the default). The Mellotron still sounds like a Mellotron, everything else sounds paulstretched. And it does not sound like Frippertronics, at least, not yet.
  9. I doubt Al could afford Jeff -- he'd better call in a favor. Me: spent all day trying to figure out why my integration features in Virtual PC stopped working.
  10. Miley Cyrus, "When I Look at You", paulstretched -- still my favorite
  11. Doctor Who theme, paulstretched
  12. Malbec? I thought Cocina was the blend? Oh well, maybe that's just currently, back in '08 (all, the good old days), they had something called Cocina Malbec. Do tell, I wouldn't mind a second opinion. Also, is that where you got it? It's looking like I'm going to have to order it online, I've only found the blend and the Bonarda in stores.
  13. The Fire Theft, "Carry You", paulstretched
  14. Also, perpetuation of backwards thinking leads to terrorists and Ray's shills.
  15. I get headaches from rolling my eyes so much.
  16. Me neither.
  17. Stuck on Oh Land. That sequence of Son of a Gun/Voodoo/Lean/Wolf & I/Human just fucking rocks me down to my socks. Oh, and hey, she's released some alternate versions of some of her songs on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/OhlandVEVO#p/u/2/V4wHMORwlHY http://www.youtube.com/user/OhlandVEVO#p/u/4/S-XSxhXghN4 http://www.youtube.com/user/OhlandVEVO#p/u/5/XY50--DkkE4 http://www.youtube.com/user/OhlandVEVO#p/u/3/1a8ckDTW4aU http://www.youtube.com/user/OhlandVEVO#p/u/1/kew62gpNTn0
  18. Finished the Gathering -- realized I was about 80% through the book when nothing major had happened yet -- she made up for it in the last 20%. Lots happened. I'm going to have to take this back -- even though she spends way too much time explaining things away that are only confusing because she introduced the idea, and there are characters that seem a little too deus ex machina for my tastes -- well, not so much deus ex machina, but ... they only seem to be there as a writing device -- I.E. Warren -- knows stuff when it needs confirming, but doesn't tell it until it's figured out by the protagonist, so it's not written from a omniscient point of view. That said -- strangely compelling. There's a lot to like about her. The whole second entry into Midheaven thing -- superb. Builds up this confidence going in, and ... doesn't spell out the deflation, but lets the actions speak for themselves. So yeah, I'll keep reading her.
  19. Dark Lord. Kidding! Malbecageddon -- finishing the bottles of Norton Reserva and Alamos Seleccion. Both were superb. Interchangeable first place, methinks.
  20. Invisibl happiness? I want to take that kitty and squeeze it until it purrs.
  21. Wow. Pre-college. High school. (tries to let that sink in) Wow. Smart kid.
  22. Yeah, I figured you were making an exception for the JH13's, but I didn't realize the HF2's were your last headphones when you got rid of them. So it's not like you said "I don't wear headphones anymore" that much anyway, you're not going to be missing a lot by not be able to say that. Smells like a double negative in there somewhere, but I think it's fine.
