right angle plugs are incompatible with 1st gen iphones tho, so it's not surprising they don't. You can buy right angle adapters, or just accept that when you're abusive to cables, you have to reterminate or replace them occassionally.

I just checked my data usage. I'm definitely downgrading my wife to the 200mb plan and I'm switching to the 2gb plan. Now I have to decide if I'm going to buy an ipad 3g for the $30 unlimited plan in the next couple of days. I probably won't.

sprint charges a fortune for tethering, unfortunately. $109 a month for the least expensive plan for the evo 4g that allows tethering.
