I guess a more appropriate description is that the GES takes the HE-60 as far as it can go IMO. The Omega does sound very good on the GES but it is capable of much more than the HE-60 and thus a WES/KGSS/BH improves the experience thus making the Omega-GES only very good.

Have to agree with that. it sounds great with the HE-60 and very good with the Omega. But it is not a step up from the 007t with the O2. The WES does sound very good with the O2 but my listening time on one has been very limited. That being said it i8s not like the O2 & 007t is a shit combo.

I was just asking about the touch/iphone as you could then see how Jaadu VNC worked for you. It should work fine with what you say you are running. Yep, as long as they are running some VNC server software it should work fine.

You should try it out if you have an iPhone/touch. Works well once you get all the desktop servers working. That was not a problem and now I have access to all data and programs and it is essentially platform independent. The upside is I get more done and have had more time to goof off. I was finally given permission to move the imac so I can have it hooked up to the ULN-2 for adjustment purposes. I now have glorious music from the digital coax inputs, now that they are unmuted

I think I have joined you Dinny. I used to be an inveterate tinkerer both with audio and with all my computers starting with the Timex Sinclair. Now I just want things to just work so I can do what I need to and what I want to. I agree with this totally and this is why I want an ipad. I want easy access to all my programs and files from anywhere at anytime. This includes work files and applications as well as all of my music. I also want it on a device that justs works and doesn't require constant tweaking. I'm not sure if the ipad will be there out of the box but I am pretty confident that it will be there pretty soon afterwards.

The micro system was two being run as monoblocs with a custom external PSU that was bigger by about 50% than both amps combined. I would look at the price but in reality a Monarchy may be a safer bet especially if it is a newer one. The micro's are starting to get a little long-in-the-tooth so may be in for some refurbishing depending upon how hard a life they have led.
