For the absolute newest games, yes, the air would be a crappy gaming machine. For the 15 year old 1.6, 10 year old css and gmod, 4 year old csgo, I doubt one needs a super beefy gfx card. Besides I've played those games (besides robocraft) on a macbook air without issue. Didn't run at 300fps but I got a pretty good 100 - 120 fps. No, I am not baiting anyone into a what fps humans can really see and whether one should bother past 60fps.

Lol @ "up to 240 minutes." Trying to make 4 hours seem like more than it really is. Real world performance would be what? 2 hours? All three games you mentioned, Al, are available for mac so any consideration for a macbook air? I have run css on it in the past and it runs just fine. I know you mentioned non mac but given that the games are available for mac without any wrappers or emulators and how light the air is, it might be appreciated in the long run. The extra pound or 2 got to be after a while especially if other things are in the backpack.

Would something like this help with not hearing the noise floor on the jh16s? There are times when I can't use my speakers (roommate in the apartment or julie studying nearby) and want to use the jh16s but the output on my desktop is noisy (as expected).

I have the apple leather case. Expensive but I got a $50 gift card for some reason when getting a new phone so just go the one at the store. Works well enough. Only issue is that the jh16 jack does not go in all the way. In the store someone else had the same case and when I tried it on theirs, it went in just fine. Minor product variation I guess.

Am I alone in thinking Amazon has failed miserably in their more recent forays in mobile/content consumption devices?

I know - that's why I even posted it in the Photo Critique section, not the People forum asking what I could do better. Just wasn't expecting so many things. On the other hand I am thankful for the critique once the original stinger wore off. Tells me specifically where the post processing went wrong instead of just hollow likes/dislikes.

Not sure if serious... I posted it and some black and white conversions to fred Miranda and essentially got torn a new one. I thought it was a reasonably good image until I read the 6 paragraph post telling me everything that was wrong with it.
