It wasn't too bad and my repair guy, who I've been using for 10 years cut me a break on the weekend service call cost. So I overpaid him and did it in cash. No more drippy boiler.

Walked downstairs to go grocery shopping and, for reasons I can't even recall, took a look into the storage room. Glad I did, as the boiler was dripping hot water all over the floor and had already created a small puddle. I put a Solo cup under the offending pipe and it relatively quickly started to fill so I called the heater repairman who informed me that I'd be paying $200 simply for the pleasure of interrupting his weekend. Currently waiting for him to arrive to find out how much on top of the flat fee I'll get to shell out. I love spring.

I know this will come as a shock... but it's snowing again. It's supposed to stop by noon time but goddamnit, yesterday was the first day of spring.

I was curious until I saw the ~$2k price tag. While less functional I'd be tempted to build a system around the Outlaw RR2150 first.

I should clarify, it's the tip of the work pens that are fat. Like 1.2mm ballpoint fat. While I can't write well with fine or extra-fine point pens this is the other end of the spectrum and equally as useless (to me). I also grabbed some .7mm uni-ball jet stream pens.

I can now, in an extremely limited fashion, contribute to this thread. For the last few weeks the pens that work supplies have been driving me nuts. They're fat, write like shit and are just plain frustrating. But I wasn't about to use a fountain pen. So I did a bit of research and yesterday a Retro 1951 Tornado in stainless steel finish arrived. It both looks and writes excellently.

This plus I'd do everything that I could to get a 2-stage model. It'll throw much better in both light and heavy snow. I can live with a single-stage because the motor behind it is my tractor but even with that at times this year I had to blow snow twice to actually get it off the driveway.

You'll want something pretty substantial to clear that much space, Haj. I was hoping it was on the smallish side and you could get by with an electric one and avoid the hassle of gas-powered lawn instruments. In the good news portion of the day the near 50 degree temps knocked out most of the snow that we got yesterday and the driveway is mostly clear.

Well, what was supposed to be rain most of the weekend was correctly predicted yesterday and a big pile of shit today. It was snowing and 34ish all morning so nothing was stick but around noon it dropped a few degrees and we've now got a couple of inches of fresh, heavy snow and it's still going. Shit cock balls I've had enough of this.
