Yeah, no way you should be paying to ship back something you didn't order. They emailed me a prepaid UPS label within an hour of calling CS.

I got an email from Newegg last night that said the following: I called the CS contact that I was given and they stated that as soon as the incorrect item was returned (with the prepaid label they provided) that they would overnight me the correct Synology DS-508. So I'm hopeful that the second time will be the charm.

Limit was one per customer, Pak. And Newegg just contacted me saying it was an inventory mistake but if I wanted the Synology they'd overnight me one once the defective shipment was returned. I said yes, that'd be fine so there's still a chance...

Called NewEgg. Package is being RMA'd and it'll take at least a week to get my $$ back and it's highly likely that the 3rd party that fulfilled the order is a fuck up.

mine is supposed to be at home so I'll confirm when I get there in 20 minutes. Really glad I didn't buy any HDs... flat package here too. Fuuuuuuuuu...

As Ric said, I wouldn't buy anything older than a 2nd gen iPad at this point. My 2G stutters pretty badly on some stuff as it is, I can't imagine what an OG would be like.

No reason that I can think of, Dinny. If the Drobo gives you enough space and you don't mind it being tethered to a machine you should be all set. What I want is a storage solution that's not attached to anything other than the router and allows me to stream media to the PS3 and other devices around the house. I kind of have that now with a 2-bay unit that I bought a month ago but 5 bays is better than 2 bays and all that...

Pretty good price??? For the price of a single, standalone drive/device I'd say it's a bit more than pretty good. Now, I really wish I'd jumped on the 2TB drives when they were for sale. If anyone sees a deal on Green drives again please let me know. Wait, the 2TB's appear to be on sale... [edit]Any thoughts on the difference between the EARX and EZRX versions of the Green drives?

Brent, Afaik Specialized does not permit online retail so anything you find is not from an authorized seller. So the LBS is likely to be your only route.

Justin, Get over your fears. Brent, I use the Specialized Sport MTB shoe on the road right now but will probably get a new pair of the Pros at some point this year. For the MTB I use Specialized Trail 120's because I got them for less than half price.

I think I run the M540s.

I run MTB pedals on both bikes, Brent. MTB shoes are definitely more comfy to walk in.
