In the end Koss is kind of lucky it was Amex not Visa or Mastercard since everything is integrated within Amex and it is one large corporation. It makes you wonder if it's going to come out that their defense is going to be that most of their better clients have their bill paid directly by the corporation. I wouldn't be surprised that it may come out a few CEO's have an all expense paid ride...
congrats Velo and Torpedo nice buys
I bought a different torque wrench because the first one I ordered appears to never have shipped and also a new expanded set of sockets for said wrench to cover a wider range of bike parts. I also bought new parts for my Specialized S-Works Pro shoes because my damn dog thought they tasted good.
Good find man. I never thought to measure this since I assumed it was fine but yes mine most definitely squealed out of the KGSS until I guess I lucked int a pair that worked after 3 rmas. All pairs except the first one were dead quiet on the E/90. This would explain an awful lot.
Dropped Meaghan off at the airport for her trip to see her mother after surgery. Watched a shit movie (Dragonball evolutiion), rode trainer, went out to brunch with two friends, did some shoveling now watching pretty good movie and making up my racing schedule for the summer.
Registration for the Wife and me to attend a 4 day riding camp in Warrenton VA. I'm hoping for 200-300 miles but we will see considering the mountains around there.
And not bought yet but related and upcoming : Retul motion capture based bike fits for us both. With LEDs placed on our body and everything, this should be very cool.
Sorry. I dd not read the whole thing carefully about the interconnection but it seems like you've got it right. I prefer passive switches just because they are inert but if it's going through the same nad circuits for both dacs then it should be much the same right?
As long as the two cable runs are about the same and not LONG there shouldn't be much difference. In very long runs the cable can make a difference.
A way to check the volume difference is to play a test tone CD and check the voltage with a multimeter or the volume with an SPL meter. The fact you can't hear a difference probably points to the match being pretty good.
I disagree with Al and Pars. Keep the switch the longer you have between the two the less chance you have of remembering what they sound like. Another option (which may have been mentioned) is to use a splitter on the toslink and feed both DACs at the same time or use two digital outputs of the transport at the same time, volume match and get a passive swtich like a skipjack or one of these which is what I use:
Kramer | VS-4X 4x1 Balanced Stereo Audio Switcher (XLR) | VS-4X
I would not be suprised at all if you can't hear a difference. I can't between my DACs.
You may I'm Canadian through my mother who was from there but otherwise I'm an island boy. I was born in Grenada and grew up until I was 16 in Barbados. It will always be home on one level.
