July 6, 201411 yr Agree with all of the above about Netherlands and poor Costa Rica. And once more "fucking Robben and his diving!". I really did feel that the Dutch got way more calls than CR, but was glad that they didn't score on any like last game. Edited July 6, 201411 yr by Voltron
July 6, 201411 yr I am not sure why the ref allow the Dutch keeper to get that close and harass the CR players when getting ready for their kicks. The ref finally caught on and sort of stood on guard, but it should have not happen to begin with. I was plesantly surprised about CR and yes, HOlland did deserved to win. Robben, like it or not, is a great player, he he. Seen him hugging the CR head coach was priceless.

Yeah, they got way more penalties, but the CR defense was very tight in drawing off-side calls against the Dutch. If they'd been less organized, I bet it wouldn't have gone to shots.
July 8, 201411 yr The funny thing is that not even when a great team plays with a shitty one this sort of thing happens.
July 8, 201411 yr I was in a meeting until 4:30 ET and just came on to notice the 5-0 score.....HOLY SHIT!!!!
July 8, 201411 yr unbelievable. We all knew this Brazilian selection wasn't great, that Germany had potential, but not in my wildest dream would see this happening.
July 8, 201411 yr Congratulations to Germany. They built their own training complex in Brazil. I loved this video released by the Deutscher Fussball-Bund: http://tv.dfb.de/video/28-tage-brasilien/8891/. Not only a great team, but great people.
