April 23, 20197 yr ^Truly 80s sounding. I am trying to figure out if that Paul Young video is the one I remember from 1983 or whether it is the other "official video" on YouTube.

May 5, 20197 yr Thanks for the comment, Dusty. I watched the video a few days ago and didn't like the tune much, so I thought this new album would be more of the same, which becomes tiring to me. I'll give it a listen on Tidal.

May 10, 20197 yr This series from the NYT is so good. The song is a banger too. Going through each episode is such a neat look at how pop music gets made.
May 10, 20197 yr With a name like "Half Gramme of Soma", you know it's stoner. I don't partake, but I do indeed love the music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLtN5KHKzSQ Again, the whole album is good: https://halfgrammeofsoma.bandcamp.com/
