• The WHFS Connection: WHFS 99.1 FM had been absolutely hammering "Counting Blue Cars" (famous for its "Tell me all your thoughts on God / 'Cause I'm on my way to see Her" chorus) on the airwaves for weeks leading up to the festival. It was heavily responsible for breaking the band into the mainstream. [1, 2]
• The Overwhelming Moment: When the band walked out onto the HFStival stage, it was one of their first times playing a massive stadium venue. When they struck the chords to that song, the entire stadium of roughly 60,000 people blasted the lyrics back at them. [1, 2, 3]
• The Lead Singer's Reaction: The lead singer, JR Richards, was so visibly moved, stunned, and emotionally overwhelmed by hearing a sea of tens of thousands of strangers perfectly singing his own words back to him that he choked up on stage.

Not sure if the best place to post, but WTH....  Some background, because I write too much: one of my favorite people in my work life lives in New Zealand.  When I and others helped on an ERP project implementation, he sent us a wonderful thank you note, along with a down vest of the company and a polo shirt from the All Blacks team.  I've always loved to see videos of Haka's and the like.  Also was just a big sucker for and lover of the movie Whale Rider.

This one hit in the feels a bit.  A lovely tribute to Māori culture by a Grammar School chorus.
