November 14, 201510 yr comment_710597 I'll be doing an update to the forum software starting at approximately 4PM EST today. This is a pretty large change, as search is completely redone and the traditional view new content functionality has been replaced as well. Other notable changes include the menu structure and an updated version of the WYSIWYG editor that should work better on mobile browsers. Report
November 14, 201510 yr Author comment_710601 Upgrade done, ended up moving the site to a new server as well. Report
November 14, 201510 yr Author comment_710603 FYI: the search index is rebuilding so it'll be an hour or two before search is fully functional again Report
November 14, 201510 yr comment_710607 In case anyone else is having issues replying to posts, clear all your browsing data, log off and then log back in and try again. That was the only thing that cured it for me. And tapatalk is seriously angry with me. It won't let me log in... Report
November 14, 201510 yr comment_710608 Having the same issue with Tapatalk. Weird shit happening there. Report
November 15, 201510 yr comment_710613 Confirm Logout / Login allowed reply. Tapatalk still borked. Report
November 15, 201510 yr Author comment_710615 Tapatalk update installed, should fix the problems you guys were seeing. Report
November 15, 201510 yr comment_710618 Thanks Todd. All seems well with tapatalk now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Report
November 15, 201510 yr comment_710652 I also can't reply to a post on Safari. Clicking in the text area just brings up the file attachment links and there's no way to get a cursor. Edited November 15, 201510 yr by Hopstretch Report
November 15, 201510 yr comment_710656 Safari is working fine for me (posting this message from it now) so I suspect you're having the same issue I was yesterday but mine was with Chrome. Try logging out, clearing everything from your browser history (I was able to leave passwords in Chrome but that was it) and I'd guess you'll be ok after that. I haven't used Chrome in ages on my Macbook so I'm guessing that's why I didn't have to clear the history in order to post. Report
November 15, 201510 yr comment_710659 Once I logged out in Chrome I was able to post but that did not help in Safari. Report
November 15, 201510 yr Author comment_710662 Yep clearing your browser cache is likely the only way to fix it. Report

November 16, 201510 yr comment_710735 I agree, I miss the new content link. The activity version is SUPER busy, and doesn't consolidate activity in threads. Report

Clicking the star would take me to the end of threads, whereas the "unread content" button takes me to the beginning of threads that have new content in them. Unless I'm doing something wrong. This. November 16, 201510 yr comment_710737 At the top of my page there's a "unread content" button that does mostly the same thing as the old button. It presents a list of threads with new activity and there's a star next to the title of the thread that will take you to the first unread post. It's more of a pain, especially on mobile, in that clicking the star reliably has not been easy. But it's all still there from what I can see. There's also still the "new content" button on mobile, but the image/icon is now something that looks like a stack of newspaper (or something like that) at least when viewed in portrait. Report
November 16, 201510 yr comment_710739 It is rare that I get something right like this so I'm happy to help. I also added an edit about the mobile icon now being different for new/unread content. Report
November 16, 201510 yr comment_710743 http://www.head-case.org/forums/discover/unread/?read=all&date_type=relative&date_relative_days=14 That's what I found works in lieu of the old new content, for me. Report
