October 29, 200718 yr i'm going to kill your face. I guess I should read the rules and what not. I always see people calling "the other site", but whatever. Am I not allowed to say it?
October 29, 200718 yr You can say head-fi if you'd like. But we're not head-fiers over here. We're head-cases.
October 30, 200718 yr You can say head-fi if you'd like. But we're not head-fiers over here. We're head-cases. I see. Well, I was refering to the people that are on Head-fi since I read the BSG appreciation thread on Head-fi and that's what got me interested in watching. Oh well.
November 8, 200718 yr Just watched the first two episodes of the new season last night. WOW!!! Although it doesn't continue where it left off last season the storyline was excellent and had much of the pace and intensity of the first season.
November 8, 200718 yr Early leak? Also, did you watch Razor (leaked last week)? I guess it's actually Razor I watched, it's labelled as episodes 1 and 2 of season 4.
November 20, 200718 yr Author Fuck If this delays part of season 4 any more than they were already planning to I'm going to be seriously pissed off.
November 20, 200718 yr damn strikes. "Galactica" showrunner Ron Moore revealed on his blog that production on episode 4.13 wrapped the previous night, there's "no certain date to resume shooting. No more scripts exist. My office staff has been laid off. My cast has been suspended, without pay." It's a rough business, and if it doesn't fit into the beancounters Grand Designs to finish a show, they won't. (See: Deadwood). Bastards.
November 20, 200718 yr Author In other BSG related news, don't forget BSG Season 1 HD-DVD set comes out on the Dec. 4th. I've had my copy pre-ordered for months now.
December 13, 200718 yr I'm not reading this thread for fear of spoilers, but I just finished watching season two. I'm tempted to quote Lee "Apollo" Adama -- "You have got to be frakkin' kidding me." Fucking cliffhangers.
December 13, 200718 yr No, 2.5 first. It took everything I had to go to bed last night after that (end of last episode of season 2). Oh, and that was Lucy Lawless?!?!? I didn't even recognize her.
December 13, 200718 yr Yea, I had to tell my friends Zena was in BSG. They didn't recognize her either. Season 3 has its ups and downs though. I think they abused "frack" to the point where I was just annoyed hearing them say it.
December 13, 200718 yr Jesus Fucking H. Christ -- first episode of 2.5 was basically a rehash of the last episode of 2.0. The cut off the beginning (they synopsized it during the "Previously, on Battlestar Galactica..." portion), and embellished a bunch of scenes with additional lines, but it was essentially the exact same fucking episode. Goddamn, that was annoying.
December 14, 200718 yr All .5 episodes are just a rehash of the previous season so you remember everything before starting the next one.
December 18, 200718 yr Just finished 2.5. Three things: They killed Billy!!!1! (Yeah, I know, that was earlier than the last episode, but I'm still reeling.) That last episode was a serious mindfuck -- all that stuff about a year from now: Starbuck with her hair all long and freely flowing; Callie pregnant and with the chief; Lee and Dualla; the President living large like a rock star; some tiff between Starbuck and Apollo; I'm surprised they didn't get the President and the Admiral together -- sure seemed like they were heading in that direction. It's like -- we're entering serious stagnant water territory, what could we do to really shake things up a bit. And I did enjoy Callie saying, "Everyone Shut The Frak Up!!!1!" Jesus Mother Frakkin' H. Christ -- I frakkin' hate frakkin' cliffhangers.
