June 17, 200917 yr 3.0 installed. Unable to connect bluetooth to my daughters mac so tethering did not work. I did download the settings needed for tethering. I will try again tonight with my mac.

June 17, 200917 yr Did you guys preorder for pickup? Yes. I talked to an Apple store employee afterwards. When you preorder the order is good for launch day. After that all bets are off. I've seen that Best Buy and AT&T are sold out of pre-orders, but I haven't heard about Apple stores yet. We'll pop over after work Friday night and pick ours up. Then it will be a long fun weekend with our new toys.

June 17, 200917 yr I just installed the 3.0 update on my Touch. Their implementation of cut/paste is great, it's very easy and intuitive to use. The landscape keyboard is a very nice feature, I make much less typos and it feels more natural. Spotlight is pretty cool too, though I don't see myself using it much since I keep my inbox clean and I don't really store anything on the Touch except mails, music and videos.
June 18, 200917 yr This is a great day for me. I can upgrade to the new 3G S since I am a July renewal (sorry Reks) and more importantly, I got tethering to work.

June 18, 200917 yr Wow, AT&T's on a mini-roll. AT&T- News Room Now all they need to do is actually get MMS and tethering working and that HSPA network up and running.
