Yup, my thinkpad display died so it was a good excuse to get the new macbook air.

My parents' Mac Mini just started throwing the Prohibitory Sign.

thats what ive been using for the past 3 years. not as much of a fashion statement as perhaps what dan suggested. but for the price and the mostly all black exterior i havent felt the need to look further. 14/15" version comfortably carries my thinkpad, ipad, reasonably thick notebook, thinkpad 90w charger, ti89 (big ass) calculator and a bottle of water.

fits my MBP well. its not snug at all though so it might be a bit wide for the air, but i think it would be fine.

I use the 13" Ristretto from Bihn which fits my 11" MBA and iPad. I went with the 13" because I was afraid anything smaller would be too small.
