Actually it makes perfect sense. When you're holding the earbud with the logo and channel marking facing you, it's in the correct position for insertion into your ear.

Grado build quality + IEM =

Of course it is obviously not Grado-made, so at least it might be okay in that regard.

I can't imagine a less enticing headphone than the Grado sound signature in an IEM form.
