Dinny and I are planning to link up in mid-town around 6pm and then head to Brooklyn. I am trying to convince JP to slow down so we can all meet up at Barcade between 6 and 7. Saturday is still an unknown for me, but I am hoping we can meet up with Dusty in Manhattan at some point. I'd really like to get back to Death & Co. and/or Please Don't Tell, plus I'm sure there are other cocktail bars in Manhattan I haven't tried.

Why are we going all the way out to Brooklyn in the first place?

Because it's there! And because too many yuppies are here (in Manhattan) and fill the good beer bars to overflowing.

And there are 8 bit video games.

I'm just provincial. But I do like video games.

And it is close enough to Manhattan that if there is a Hipster Dufus uprising in Brooklyn we can probably escape.

Man, even I avoid Barcade due to the usual 80%+ population of hipsters.

I was unaware that manhattan outlawed hipster douchebags. Last visit the population of the Tiger was annoying but it comes with getting older.

After eating my second huge BBQ meal of the day I decided to head home a bit early.

Some pics of the event.

We started at Barcade.

Where everyone tried their hands at some video games and great beer.

Then to the BBQ place where we ate from the Meat-Case.

Where Al ordered 20 lbs of BBQ and it was all excellent.

Al seemed to gravitate to the Sausage.

Did I mention that the BBQ place had a great beer and whisky selection?

Great evening with a great group of guys.

For the record, the pork cheeks were way better than the sausage.

I like pig face meat, tasty.
