January 31, 201313 yr comment_559228 How can we expect the children to learn if all they have to eat is little steaks? The pieces (at least on the screen) looked so small (at least compared to a big ribeye), it reminded me of Zoolander. March 3, 201313 yr comment_563694 cooked and eaten... homemade pasta filled with quark (German cheese)/spinach.. with a butter/sage topping. did not have pasta machine or rolling pin (thought I did) - so pasta was a little thick.. but overall super tasty.. Report

March 16, 201313 yr comment_566133 Indeed it wasn't. Dry aged ribeye from Whole Foods cooking right now. Man, I really love good steak. I had one of those a couple of weeks ago (not the testicle sammich) and it was one of the best steaks I've ever cooked and eaten. Debbie is making stuffed cabbage tonight to tip our hats to the Irish. Report

May 14, 201313 yr comment_576541 My first attempt at Tzatziki sauce. Don't know why I didn't try making this earlier - I love this stuff. http://www.kalynskitchen.com/2007/07/worlds-best-tzatziki-sauce-recipe-greek.html Report
May 14, 201313 yr comment_576543 Good but I put in too much lemon so I'll have to fix it up a bit (I didn't really follow the recipe that well). It has to sit overnight. I'm planning to eat it with steamed artichokes tomorrow, can't wait! Report
May 14, 201313 yr comment_576561 I really like that sauce but never knew the name of it. Now I know the name of it and how to make it! Thanks Shelly Report
May 14, 201313 yr comment_576591 You are welcome! I noticed that some other recipes have olive oil (as well as mint or vinegar or sour cream) in them - I may put some olive oil in mine today and see which I like better. Also, I put some sour cream in mine because all I had was 0% fat greek yogurt in the house. Report
May 14, 201313 yr comment_576638 Great, now I'm craving a good Gyro, with no local outlet for one. Report
May 15, 201313 yr comment_576719 Sounds good Jacob but how dare you not post of picture of it. I made some veggies taco that were pretty outstanding. I think I could eat these everyday (I may have to add some bacon every once in a while though). Veggie Tacos: Sauteed onions, poblano peppers, garlic, portabello mushrooms, and diced black bean burgers + homemade guacamole + sour cream + Sriracha sauce + extra sharp cheddar + corn tortillas. The tzatziki sauce + artichokes and margarita* were really good too. *Margaritas are always good. Edited May 15, 201313 yr by shellylh Report
