How was it?

Great, of course. The Prior 8 I had as well was less fizzy than it usually is, but I still like the Pater 6 more overall.

I'm thinking I'm going to try the Duchesse De Bourgogne again tonight because of how different my and Colin's impressions of it are.

Celebrating my graduate student's first (of at least six) on campus interview today with a nice little something that came in the mail from Hoboken, NJ!!! :) [Evidentally, things are going well so that is a relief.]

Do want.

Having a Pink Gin, I need to get myself one of those nice glasses like the one morphsci used last time

What did you think of it Al?

I am certain I typed a response to this yesterday but I cannot see it here. I liked the drink even though it is odd and somewhat dominated or overridden by the bitters. Like you said, I would like a pro to make one and see how they do it.

Very nice Stagg Shelly! Congrat to you and your grad student.

HDen, you also need a camera! :)

Now drinking a dram of Fortaleza Reposado in a CanJam LA Glencairn. Yum.

Nice Stagg Shelly. I'll toast you and your grad student with some of my own later this evening.

Right now, Robert the Bruce.

Brewdoug 2/3 Sweet apple base cider.

I'm not a cider drinker, but this really is very very good. Dead chuffed.

Rodenbach

gin and tonic.

Hey, me too! North Shore no. 6 and Fever Tree.

Lots of Stagg tonight, which is always a good thing.

Buckeye Brewing Hippie IPA....like a homebrew only w/o the freshness...like someone took a brewing class:)...but it's definitely drinkable...shows how great IPA is as a style...

& more Hopslam:)...

Ninkasi Tricerahops Double IPA....8.8ABV....a big one:)...surprisingly malty...one of those “we added a little more everything” beers, but it's really the malt that sticks out head & shoulders above all else...including the hops...

It is not crap.

Founders Centennial IPA followed by Two Brothers Domaine Dupage followed by numerous bottles of Miller High Life for beer pong (holla at your college boy) followed by Sierra Nevada Hoptimum.

Surprisingly not too out of it.

Coffee right now but shared a bottle of Bodega Norton Malbec Reserva 2007 last night with a couple of friends. It liked it a lot (especially for the price of $12.69). I am going to go and 6-12 more bottles of it this weekend.

Thanks for the tip, Shelly. Been doing a lot of Malbecs myself lately, and most have been great bang for the buck.

Victory Storm King Imperial Stout.

Love it. Wish I had more than one.
