I still like the album, but not as much as I liked all the clips and live tunes I heard. Granted none of those had the singing. They are not singers, and I don't think they are really trying to be. I am a music first person when I listen, I still don't know what most Yes songs are about. So for Who Asked?, I just treat it as another instrument. The drumming is actually a style I like, others out there are copying it now as well. I also recently found out that JD Beck was a grad of School of Rock, which I thought was funny. And I agree don't "Try to Like" it. Hard pass is always the option.

Marin Metric Century done and dusted! That was so much fun. Cool to ride with thousands of people. The stretch along Tomales Bay is A++ riding. Those of you who have been out to Marshall for Oysters know what I am talking about. I am soooo glad I trained for the climbing and held some back for the final hill. Next year we do the 100 miler!

45 years ago today you ancient ones

The good news: Today was the The Vineyard Series. The bad news: Just about everything else. I got there late. Many of the Land Rovers had already departed. The lighting conditions were absolutely abysmal. The medication I am currently on mandates that I stay "out of the sun" so I have to wear long pants and a button down shirt in the summer head. It was an unpleasant experience to put it mildly. I did get a few photos, and they will show up eventually.
