Marc is 76 years old today, but doesn't look a day over 45. That could have something to do with his head always shrouded in pipe smoke. I've been inches away, but never had a clear view. Or possibly it's his career that keeps him looking younger. He's a towel boy at a posh country club, and the constant steam must be the answer ( I realize that some of you think he's involved with software, but that's just his cover story ). The 220v - 110v step down transformers your tax dollars bought me have an audible 50Hz hum coming from the transformer and it’s driving me crazy. I’d like to source an alternative low-wattage (under 200) unit that will be dead silent for my listening room, but I’d like to know for sure it’s silent before I ship it all the way to Moldova and plug it in. Any d-_-b recommendations?

Once again this year I'm prepping to ride a century in support of the Kelly Brush Foundation. I have (quite literally) been training my ass off and started the year with a goal of riding more than 2,020 (get it?) miles before the event. Well, I've truly exceeded that and am currently sitting at ~2,300 with a few more weeks to go before the ride. Of course, as most things have gone in 2020, this year's event will be quite different from the past with no formal large gathering in VT.
