Some unfinished business. Analog photography from Voltron's Mayberry on Acid Meet. Almost trashed the negatives, the proofs really sucked. (Note to self: Slow shutter + alcohol do not mix.) Took a second look and a few of the scans didn't turn out too bad.

What the Title says people! They cost like $1.49 and you get 12 bars in the box...that's like 12 divided into $1.49 and I think it comes out to pretty cheap per bar. Yea they do! btw: there are many other greats but not one of those many others equal the single great of the Little Debbie PBCB! Oh what's that on my desk? is it a box of PBCB?... for me? noooo..you shouldn't have.. btw: just to make my point more Windex clear... the PBCB's are like the coffee of the solid world (coffee is a liquid..duh..) (mid thingy, nothing much here) (and Coffee is like OMG the best!) (Help I am stuck in this weird bubble thingy....) No LOL's Here cause I am…

I have my account set up for queuing Blu-Ray disks if they're available. Sometimes I don't want it blu-ray but it selects it automatically. Is there a way to manually change a queued movie from blu-ray to DVD? I don't want blu ray all the time because I just rip movies to my hard drive most of the time and throw them back in pill box so I get movies faster.

So, my son wants to go to CSU in Fort Collins like his mother, to study Biomedical Sciences (pre-med). Tonight he got an email offering him one of the 72 slots for freshmen in the program. It's gonna be strange with his sister going to a rival school, CU Boulder (Go Buffs, Go Rams, Go Buffs, Go Rams!). At least there's only one year of overlap before she graduates. I had dreams of them sharing a car and apartment for that year, but CU Boulder would make him live in the dorms his first year anyway, so part of that plan wouldn't have worked. I went to Texas A&M at the same time that my older brother went to Texas University (we Aggies can't call it University of Te…

So, in July 2011 my father-in-law passed away, and we inherited his 12 year old cat, Greystone. Greystone was frightened by the ambulance and the police and ran off that day, and it took 3 weeks for my brother-in-law to lure him back into the house. My wife's siblings were unable to keep the cat, so we agreed to take him. When we picked him up he was in poor health, with a mouth full of rotten teeth and he was malnourished and all skin and bone, weighing about 7 lbs. We took him to the vet whom we've used for 6 years with our other pets, and Greystone had to have all of his remaining teeth pulled. We nursed him back to health but he couldn't gain weight. He had norm…

I have a bad reading habit. Most times I tend to pick up a book, start reading, I'll finish it without too much of a "time off." However there are a few that I have started and have taken a break from. Interestingly, I do seem to remember and ponder what's going on with the characters exactly at the place/time where I left them while I am off. There are some extreme examples.... The Stand: I left the troop of wanderers (not quite wanderers after all) stuck at mother Abigail's for about 1 month. So I wondered what where they up to, playing in the corn fields. Brother Odd: Left odd looking/following a bodach/beast (won't tell more so that I don't spoil) in the basemen…

I'm looking to get my first HDTV and right now these two are at the top of my list: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4hNQdT9K5AE/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?I=305hls5679&wm=cl http://www.crutchfield.com/S-3V6SbpYDHGy/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=147350&I=15855A2000 My seating area is about 8 ft away so I'm thinking something in the 50" - 55" range would be just about perfect. The Samsung is about the top of my budget and I'd really prefer to spend less.
