This gets crazy discounted once a year and it's that time. If you want a wealth of fiction, music reviews, film commentary, cartoons, etc. here you go. Although the software isn't up to the content (though updates to it are better than some early reviews), 4,000 issues over 80 years for under $20 is incredible. Content is searchable by keywords, but like all these summary DVD collections, they're not going to go back and get permissions from every writers estate so these are decent resolution images - basically PDFs - of every page, not the text. The Fires have entered Colorado Springs. The famous Flying W Ranch is on fire, and the neighborhood we lived in 20 years ago (Mountain Shadows) is on fire. We appreciate any prayers, best wishes or kind thoughts this way. Thousands of people are displaced right now on the west and northwest side of town, and may become homeless soon. We currently live on the southwest end of town, and are about 10-15 miles from the closest flames. The winds kicked up to 55MPH earlier, and the fire just took off for the north - it's covered over 3 miles toward the north in the past 4 hours. Donor has been pretty active in the "for sale" areas on Head-Fi. Well, turns out our boy donor is pulling a fast one on us. He runs the headphone product review site www.headphonesrock.com. He talks to manufacturers to get review samples and then turns around and sells them to folks here. We just caught him red handed. He had the gaul to have us ship the unit directly to the buyer saying the buyer was a reviewer ... which of course he wasn't. Un-friggen-believable! I just got spam email from CEntrance. They referred to HF to help sell their product. The only place I can think of where they could have gotten my email addy is HF. Has anybody else received this spam? I guess it's time to delete my account on HF.
