Donor has been pretty active in the "for sale" areas on Head-Fi. Well, turns out our boy donor is pulling a fast one on us. He runs the headphone product review site www.headphonesrock.com. He talks to manufacturers to get review samples and then turns around and sells them to folks here. We just caught him red handed. He had the gaul to have us ship the unit directly to the buyer saying the buyer was a reviewer ... which of course he wasn't. Un-friggen-believable! Same rig I've been using for over a year. FLACs in foobar -> Adcom GDC-750 CDP/DAC -> Gilmore Lite + DPS -> HD-650s/Blue Dragon Mk IIs, all the electronics being feed cleaned power via a Monster HTS-5100 MK II. Total cost to me: around $1500. What makes me a true head-fi heretic is that I have resisted upgraditis and FOTM syndrome. That is, until I sent a large-ish payment to one Mr. Takei for some bleeding edge fuglyphones and accompanying boat anchor. One pair of cans doubles the cost of my rig.

There is a beep coming from somewhere in my house that I can't pinpoint. It's 3 beeps about 1/2 a second apart with one silent beat between them. It's high pitched like a fire detector but with beeps and not a solid tone. It's been going on since I got home form work today and I"m going to kill myself if I can't find it soon. I can't enjoy my beloved hd650's with this donkey fucking beep boring a hole in my brain. There's never been a worse time to be an obsessive compulsive than right now.

I have my account set up for queuing Blu-Ray disks if they're available. Sometimes I don't want it blu-ray but it selects it automatically. Is there a way to manually change a queued movie from blu-ray to DVD? I don't want blu ray all the time because I just rip movies to my hard drive most of the time and throw them back in pill box so I get movies faster.

I purchased a sound card from a seller early last week and still haven't had any email answers, or recieved a shipping confirmation regarding the deal. I was wondering how long people usually wait to file a claim? Obviously the thing would still be in the mail, but I just fnd it odd the guy won't respond to an email confirming the deal. I saw he had 100% positive feedback, but was only a member since january, and had 41 feedbacks.Also saw he was selling generally cheaper stuff then what I bought. Any thoughts?
