This forum looks like the real deal. If I read another "FWIR" or "after 175 hours of burn-in" on HF, I'm going to vomit - not literally, but you get my drift. Yeah, pointless thread.... just venting. I like headphones. I have money so I can buy them. I'm interested in finding out more about electrostatics and the holy grail of headphone sound. I've bought and sold thousands of dollars worth of speakers, amps, dacs, and gadgets in the pursuit of perfect, affordable sound. I think I'm getting closer with headphones, but the journey has been trying with some questionable info/advice from HF. I enjoy the honesty here.

The Skipper is Mal. There are Gilligan traits in both Jayne and Wash; professor traits in both Simon and Book. The contrast of Ginger's glam and Mary Ann's plain-ness in Inara & Kaylee (and in both cases, there is still a friendship/comraderie). I have no idea who Mr. and Mrs. Howell would be associated with, but Simon definitely has an air of nobility/snobbiness about him, so perhaps Simon/River. Zoe doesn't really have a counterpart, other than she's sort of the second in command. But there are more characters in Firefly/Serenity, so of course they're not going to all match up. ...or maybe it's Lost In Space... Thoughts?

Considering our hobby, I have to presume I'm not the only one that's sucked in by simple genius. This is a dumping ground for unique inventions that are underappreciated for what they are; they've become commonplace, obsolete or quite simply, frivolous! I purchased a sound card from a seller early last week and still haven't had any email answers, or recieved a shipping confirmation regarding the deal. I was wondering how long people usually wait to file a claim? Obviously the thing would still be in the mail, but I just fnd it odd the guy won't respond to an email confirming the deal. I saw he had 100% positive feedback, but was only a member since january, and had 41 feedbacks.Also saw he was selling generally cheaper stuff then what I bought. Any thoughts?

Boy oh boy, what a skin this is. It's dark but way cool. I am useing Helios_Multi. And beyond that even, once it is setup you can go to the top of it and change the color highlights, boarders ect. I am in the Red Gray and Black mode. The gray block on the end is really a chrome like silver blue. I will do that next. Yellow was a chrome like gold and cool. The red I am useing is a deep red which looks like gloss paint clear coated.

It looks like the internet infrastructure is starting to buckle under the strain of increased usage. YouTube is setting standard definition as the default resolution next month and Sony is slowing down PlayStation downloads in Europe. I'm not going to feel too smug about amassing a library of CDs and Blu-rays, just a little. What are you guys doing to adjust to staying at home? I plan on getting a lot more reading and writing done. Unfortunately, the gyms have been shut down so I'll have to stick to running, bicycling, etc. to get my exercise.

With the winter just around the corner, I've been pondering about snow/winter tires for my car. While I never had real issues driving in snow/winter, with my daughter around now, I'm wondering if it's a worthwhile investment to get snow/winter tires.
