  3. Family left a few hours ago. Got my Masters Thursday night, shook the SECAF's hand and got rather drunk that night. Movers come on Monday.

  8. Nah, I was just kidding you Some people elsewhere think that the DSD 192 is a bright DAC. I own one and I think it's pretty OK, specially considering its price.

  10. Nice, how is the micro adjustment clasp? Seems like one of the best features of the new Subs.

  11. The point is that it isn't unusual. For the amps I did not account for part changes due to supply or obsolescence just fundamental changes to how they were built. Your argument is made even worse as it doesn't account for the general mentality at Stax. Constant changes are the norm and there is no looking back, new is always an improvement. It's been like that from the 60's.

  12. Don't know if I've bragged on my local record store before, but I consistently find amazing deals on rare records at Mobile Records. The guy who runs it Keith is a real pro. From Australia but fell in love with a southerner and relocated to the deep south. Yesterday's haul: Peter Gabriel - Melt: Apparently he recorded alternate versions of his early albums with German lyrics. I had no idea. This is the german version, haven't listened yet. The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead: original Rough Trade pressing, hell yes! Pearl Jam - Vitalogy: original pressing, not the remixed recent release. hell yes again! Also noted, but did not purchase, he has an original pressing of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Too rich for me at $300 but was happy just to see it.
