  2. I was fairly far ahead in that race but Brent said to come back and play, so I turned around and crashed into Brent head-on. Got DQed but so worth it.

  6. Second round shaping up to be intense and pretty nicely competitive. Caps/Pens is getting a bit ugly, hopefully it settles a bit but I still want the Caps to win it. Pens have 3 scary good lines for scoring, though, and their defense has been better than I thought it would be. I think lots of credit to Coach Mike Sullivan is due for their surge.... Blues are looking interestingly good as well. Dallas starting to show their (relatively) weaker defense, but still a fast and exciting team. Don't have a dog in the race for NYI and Tampa Bay, I guess I'd like to Islanders to go ahead because it's been longer for them (and ex-Bruin Johnny Boychuck is there, miss him on the Bruins!). Sadly, I don't se either team beating the winner of Caps/Pens, unless that series causes excessive wear and tear.... Anyway, go AnyoneButPenguins!

  7. Sounds about right. I'll let you know when I have some TOGTE boards made, just in case you want something then. I think I already have a stockpile of all of the transistors needed, but have to double check.

  9. Better thermal conductivity due to finer surface smoothness is a well established proven fact. Whether I can prove there is a benefit is not my concern, my primary reason for employing this strategy is to have a potential that is advantageous rather than hindering. Very little work and material is required to achieve this, so why not?

  10. I can deduce that they wouldn't be slimy, but I'm sure they still taste like old gym socks. I love most vegetables, and even recently turned a corner on Brussel Sprouts (once Mike and Deb showed me they're good when not boiled). But Okra, Lima beans & Hominy are nasty. I've explained Okra, Lima beans (and Butter beans) are not slimy, but taste no better than Okra, and Hominy is like someone covered corn in wax.

  19. Looks like you're already getting better at rimming, but be aware of color. Rimming is always an optional activity.

  21. I just spent the past 2 hours swapping pedals, helping Xavier install his own cleats in his new shoes (the 2014 version of this,) got the trainer all adjusted for a 650c bike, adjusted the pedals a click at a time to get him to be able to get in and out consistently. He has been wanting to get on the trainer for months, but we didn't since we were riding a good bit. Since he is trying out clipless, though, and we have a big ride on Wednesday, getting him on the trainer made a ton of sense. He's been going a good half hour for his "workout" and clipping in/out practice. He'll be tearing up the race circuit (which I need to look into) soon. I <3 this kid. **BRENT**
