No way am I going to trust my machines to this POS. W7pro64bit is just fine thank you. There are all sorts of horror stories about corrupted hard drives, unrecoverable situations and dead machines out there. Just registered for a Test and Tune autocross event. Not a competition but a chance to run the autocross course 30+ times and make adjustments (pretty much tire pressure in my case) and I paid extra to have an instructor ride along throughout the day. Also I will have gotten my new rear sway installed a few days before. Should be lots of fun, though it's not really racing. There is also a track day scheduled in August at the new Dominion Raceway road course but they have been getting cancelled due to SCCA not approving the track yet so I've not registered. Would require a taking a day off which is less of an issue.

It's a legitimate question -- I brought the guitar to class last week, and my teacher asked me, "What's the point of fanned frets?" and I couldn't really answer. The one thought I had before I got it is: I've been really grooving on the baritone lately, which, at 28", is just a tad over the lower end of the fanned fret at 27.7" -- so it's sort of a baritone on the bass side, and a regular guitar on the treble side. So it's kind of the best of both worlds. But he immediately helped me tune it so that I could play both the bass and the guitar parts of Starglue Sniffer on it, so ... he's still an awesome teacher. But yeah, mostly the guys who are drawn to it are the ones that like to come up with lead licks and riffs -- the metal guys. Even more so than on 7-strings, there isn't a whole lot of anyone else doing anything else on it (I don't intend to play metal on it, although I will learn some metal). PS The connector cable is called a speaker cable. Mesa Boogie is good stuff, I hope you enjoy it.

This would be the most expensive part at $80 even cheaper if you go for the 15 watt version. definitely everything fits in the box, and no phase splitter or other crap because its a true differential balanced amplifier. the quad alpha pot would be the 2nd most expensive part at $30 so say $200 in parts plus about $25 for the box. and it won't blow up even into a 4 ohm load. or a dead short.

Nice, Chris. Do you have a good, accurate pressure gauge? You should get one. Also, IR thermometer to get temps. Also, bring someone to record all of this in a huge spreadsheet with ambient temps, surface temps, tire temps, etc. Bring a water sprayer to spray the tires down. Also, make sure the guy with the computer is wearing a lab coat. **BRENT**

Two years ago I had a crapload of dental work done, because I was an ass for many years and did not take good care of my teeth. Even during that time I used an Oral B. My new dentist recommended a Sonicare. I bought one and have loved it since. And my exams since using it have been excellent. So that's my 2 cent recommendation.
