I know the White Witch would approve of the Turkish Delights. Now where are my JH13s.....?4 points

I know this is an old topic, but I wanted to add some pictures of the latest sr-007 so that people can see if there are any differences. I did the blue-tac mod on the port and increased the spring to 105mm and flattened it as recommended. I inserted the spring as per the old -007 model as shown in the instructions (credit to spritzer for the instructions sheet picture). The difference in bass was actually quite moderate. It did help with bass response, but the change was subtle. Which is really all I wanted. No issues with the Stax fart at all so far. See attached. This was purchased Dec 15 2017 directly from Stax in Japan.4 points

Do we have a running total of the various JHA offerings so far lost or destroyed by Head Case? Got to be close to double figures by now.3 points

I greatly prefer the modern Roxannes to my older JH13s and with the crazy sales they often have you can get them for about the same price as the JH-13s. Not sure if the modern ones are dramatically better than my two older pairs of 13s but I am happy with the Roxanne’s, but I am not ruling out the Layla’s at some point when I get bored.2 points

Really like these a lot! I got the earbuds as a test. I think I’ll get their Best big ones! I posted this review on Amazon: Fantastic! I have my hearing back, if only for the time I have my Earprints in. Instruments and vocals sound like themselves again. Soundstage is stable again! This was the most surprising aspect of the change. I guess because my hearing loss was only in the high frequencies in my left ear, it screwed up the stability of the soundstage as tones changed. Very frustrating, and I couldn’t really verbalize that until now. I spent hours fiddling with balance, volume, frequency etc. only to walk away angry and frustrated. These Earprints fixed it in 90 seconds! So grateful to have my music back! Now if only they exported their audio correction circuit for my speaker rig! I’d LOVE to have my personal EarPrint for my speakers! How are my dizzy and hearing challenged brothers? Would love to hear from you!2 points

I want to use GRLV for my new headphone amplifier. But I need 30V power supply with 3 sockets, and place for large capacitors in the filter (up to 35mm in diameter), and I want to use Elna Silmic II 220uf, 50V as output capacitors. And I spent two evenings to made my own GRLV pcb, simultaneously learning kicad. This is the first pcb in my life, which I have made myself. I also replaced the diode bridges with the fast diodes MUR820, and shunted them with ceramic capacitors. Perhaps someone will find this useful. But I'm not sure of the complete absence of errors ). Must be double digit losses. I'd text JP and ask which JH you might want because he has made relatively recent comparisons. I'm supposed to be receiving the Turkish Delight customs arranged through Özgür. I can tell you how they sound compared to original jh13s...1 point

For that genre of music (and the term is used extremely loosely here) It wouldn't really matter if you got two empty tin cans and affixed some iBuds in the bases...... You also need to get a coat hanger and use it as a headband...... I have been giving this a lot of deep thought since my last post and have come to the sad conclusion that your mate needs somewhat more than a miracle........1 point

You get a decent discount for being a JH Audio pro or something if you have previous headphones and then they do the holiday sales periodically. I think I got at least 30% off the Roxanne’s.1 point

For what its worth, I had an older generation of the 16s and hated them because they are bass-boosted. If you like neutral I'd rule out the 16s.1 point

I echo Antonio’s comments. Thank you for the review but more importantly, I am glad you can listen to music again. That would be cool if they could apply their technology to speakers. You should drop them a line and see if they have considered that. Again, glad you have music back in your life.1 point

Thanks for the review, John. I'm very glad these are working for you I'm better, the tinnitus is back to normal (I've been having bilateral tinnitus since the late teens) and the hyperacusis is much better, now I can go to a restaurant with it not becoming a painful experience. I'd say I've recovered a bit of hearing in the 4-8KHz range, but not much above that, I'll have a new audiogram in a few weeks. I can listen to music on speakers without much discomfort, I'm not brave enough to try headphones yet, if SPLs are highish for some time the tinnitus gets worse.1 point
