  2. I’m presently enjoying the Schwanensee from Wiener Staatsoper through “SRM-600 Limited Modified” and I like the sound. Drove 400 km from our summer cottage to apartment and back today to assemble the CCS board. Here is picture of the Limited surrounded by a couple of nice electrostatics.

  4. I had a long beard, but it was suggested that I shave before my Thursday surgery. This is what I came up with.

  5. The plan should be to get Jeff drunk enough to let you have the Scoutmaster now and pay for it once your kids get out of college.

  6. Aren't you, like, saying you wanna lose weight? I'm gonna assume a radicchio wedge or 2 and nothing else. (;

  7. I'll be with a group of friends and overall, the ride has 500+ riders so there will be plenty of folks suffering along with me. And I'm not sure about the elevation. I don't think it's extreme, probably a few thousand feet but shouldn't be too bad really.

  8. Found out tonight that Kasia's cousins are big developers with Infiniti Ward and have a character named after them in COD 4 Modern Warfare, Private Roycewicz. Somehow in the Euro trip I did not get to meet them. http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Roycewicz

  11. I think I sold the complete chassis with angle brackets and board set for $1295, but I was not making any money. (no sand) one more for posterity. Really like this one, definitely takes talent to do this.

  12. If you have "good wheels" (other cyclists of a similar level or a little higher than yours) by your side, setting a pace and giving relief, it should not be a problem to reach the finish line and set a good time. The problem is if you hook from the beginning to a group stronger than you, in a few kilometers you will be exhausted. In my case, the trick is to shoot, shoot, shoot ... and the day of the race, enjoy especially if you go with friends. Although you still have time, I wish you luck. At the end of September we have the flight to Gran Canaria and this year will be especially hard.

  14. Still nothing yet from sellmark. I did call and leave a voicemail. I'll let everyone know as soon as I hear from them.

  15. When I have to do those distances, I always get nervous. I guess it's normal. In the islands we make those distances but you never have "flat" areas so you have to go reserving for the next mountain pass. I think the best thing if you are insecure is to get into a group whose rhythm is similar to yours and keep a steady but affordable rhythm from the beginning. Does the route you have to do have a lot of elevation?
