I read the review. Please, by all means let us know how do those Klipsch perform. The world needs more efficient and sensitive devices. And people, probably.
I visited the Apple Store and played with the new 16" MacBook Pro a bit.
It's nice to see the hardware Esc key return and touch bar seems about the same without it. The 16" MBP is only slightly larger and heavier than the 15" one, so it shouldn't throw any shoulders out of wack.
The keyboard is comfortable, but there isn't a lot of travel on the scissor-switch keys, so it's kind of a middle ground between the previous scissor-switch keyboards and the newer butterfly switch keyboards. They are quiet and well-spaced though – I doubt I'd have a problem with it as my co-workers seem to have adjusted to their butterfly-switch keyboards easily.
I ran a few apps without a hiccup on macOS 10.15.1 but it's hard to do a thorough performance test in the Apple Store. I'll do a more thorough check on the display and speakers the next time I see one.
Made an impulse buy for this intriguing 300B SET, which is turning out to have great resolution and bass definition for a 300B SET, through speakers, headphone amp, AND driving electrostats via Stax transformer!

Wow very dejavuish. The speakers look very similar to my DCM Time Windows and the receiver looks very similar to my Pioneer 1010. Both of which I keep in my home office just for memories of the good old days.
Going with the opposite ratio in the bedroom setup. Obviously, I need to even everything up and get my cables lengthened and organized differently, but this setup is incredibly satisfying.
Well, things have gone absolutely pear shaped here in scenic western MA. I was due to have my chimney serviced on the 4th. That's in two days. I just called and cancelled that appointment. I can't use my wood stove until it IS serviced, so once again my house Castle Ballfreeze.* Worse still, I currently have no one to plow my driveway. The company (a one man operation) I used most recently completely ceased returning my calls a while back. I paid him cash on site when he did show up, so I haven't the foggiest what is his major malfunction.
You can imagine what it's like trying to find a new outfit to plow right in the middle of an early and massive blizzard. Fun times ahead!
* An ancient GoT reference.
It's the same headband as the SR-007 so two screws on each side that secures it. Be careful, those are JIS screws so pretty easy to strip with other drivers.
Also, anybody want to see the most disgusting SR-007's in the world?

Yeah...those early ones don't hold up.
